Infinite hulkageddon is the product of a golden age in EVE online where player driven content has conquered not only nullsec, but hi sec as well.

You cannot escape player driven content matey.

Things are only impossible until they are not.

You seem to be under the impression that all player generated content is good for the game...

It probably is in this case, if it gets people interacting with others, in whatever form, and makes them think about how to counter the situation, I'd call that a positive.

High-sec isn't conquered.

Miners are hardly the biggest aspect of high-sec.

You still have Mission Runners and more importantly the Market dwellers and builders.
IF anything the last I checked the mineral prices peeked and are now dropping.
Even Hulks are returning to normal Levels.
The Hulks wouldn't have changed at all if not for market manipulation (somebody had some fun buying up the market)

As far as health, well I still think EVE needs more sand in the box, but that is just me,

If you ever see me make a thread, go for it (hint: won't ever happen). I for one would be interested to see the new subscriber numbers after the sheer weight of trololol and whiner threads this farce has encouraged. Of course, those won't be released so it's speculation at this point.

But hey, carry on.

What you hear in the background is the sound of Nero fiddling while Rome burns. Enjoy your "golden age."

You need two hands to play the violin but only one for a fiddle.

Suicide ganking is only result about CCP decisions to end jetcan mining by bringing orca to game.

After orca is has not been possible to trick miners to die voluntarily, only way to kill those is suicide gank.

So i would say that in this case sandbox is not so good than it used to be.

There's an online usage chart showing your golden age. The gradual decline at the end of the all-time numbers is the death knell for Eve if the trend is not reversed. CCP claims nine years of subscription growth and 400k subscribers, but those numbers have to be cooked, if the online user numbers are in long-term decline. Denial is your only friend in this case. The numbers speak for themselves.

I feel obligated to inform you that you have to read that chart from right to left.

As much as I would love to see what you're seeing, you do realise the graph's read from right to left don't you?

they read right to left, brogurt.

It's always funny to see people make statements whose true meaning escapes them. "Golden Age" defined for the obtuse: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Age

The Golden Age is the far past, a time of peace and prosperity. A time brought to an end by the greed and violence of men. You may be right; without big changes to the core concepts of the game, this will be the dusk of EVE's golden age. "Invariably, the term 'Golden Age' is bestowed retroactively, when the period in question has ended and is compared with what followed in the specific field discussed."
