Hello Gents

Recently decided i was going to move my minmi toon into WHs. Ive heard C3 is the best ones to do solo for the money. So ill be setting up a medium POS (was thinking of doing the Nomad living out of an orca but ill leave it till im more experianced).

However im not sure what minmi ship would be good at it. I have had some experiance flying a tengu on them and i know some stuff orbits pretty quick at 60+km. Could someone reccomend me a minmi ship which has either the range to snipe them or the speed on catch them (although i can imagin that leaves all hell for the salvager)/ Fit would be apreciated as im really not sure what kind of numbers i should be aiming for since the sleepers neut.

Though I have never done it, I have a friend who solo'd C3 sites with a slepneir.

sleipnir can do it, an AC maelstrom might do it, not sure.

AC Maelstrom and AC Loki work pretty well for straight c3 work. Just keep an eye on your cap and you'll be fine.

Honestly, from what I know of minnie ships, I'd recommend Loki or Sleipnir if you want gtfo ability and to stay small.

Any minmatar battleship (or battleship period, except traditionally drone-only boats and perhaps Amarr) should be fine in the C3, but you need good drone skills to deal with the frigs and you will need to keep a close eye on them. Sleepers wll chew your drones up.

Also, if you are in a BS, use tech II drones, despite typical advice to use tech I, so you can kill the frigs quickly. Again, watch your drones health carefully, or you will spend a lot of money replacing dead drones (or worse, get tackled with no way to kill them--yikes!).

You can do C3's in a Claymore. Just don't pick a Cataclysmic, where your local tank suffers.

For C3 anomalies, you'll need a 500dps omnitank and 55-60% cap stability.

For the high-end mag & radar sites (where the good isk is at), 750dps tank and 70-75% cap stability.

In practise, running the mags & radars is best done with a low sig + active tank since you get webbed a lot. For this, a reasonably pimped Loki is your only practical option.

Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.
