In my experience the more appropriate your punctuation is, the more nanoribbons you will get.

I hear if your grammar is impeccable, the sleepers will armor rep you instead of them. Just make a case for it in local.

I personally just tried this, not only does it work, but you can also convince the sleepers to self destruct as well.

Protip: Truly horrendous grammar also makes them self destruct.

Oh, Do go on... no seriously ive got nothing better to do then listen to all the petty arguments and feeble trolling attempts...

The sad thing is i'm not sure if i'm telling the truth.

The rate of nano-drops must be random? I was out yesterday with a couple of friends and we ran two, c5 sites. 47 Ribbons. Then we got a fleet together and ran another one. Zero. Escalation the next hour. And it was 30. If anyone has a theory on Ribbon drops I would love to hear it. Total randomization is impossible in code. There always has to be a pattern.

The pattern, however, can be complicated enough to not be easily predictable or exploitable. Which is really all that matters here.

Even algorithms that do not use hardware as assistance can generate results that humans absolutely cannot discern from perfect randomness.

its random within limits like any drop system in a game you will never get 100 nanos from 1 ship or its so unlikely that its barely worth thinking about. And there is almost definitely an mean or average which is the most likely. that's what I meant by not a random number generator.

which enables CCP to change drop rates on average which effects inflation.

And your all thinking about supply side economics there could simply be less demand for nanoribbons or because mineral prices have gone up people are less willing to pay as much for the nano's or a mixture between any number of factors.

economics is never one sided don't make the same mistake conservatives make all the time or the excuse they make to cut taxes for the rich more likely...

But on large enough scale they would have an effect and it is obviously not completely random when's the last time you got 1 million nano ribbons from one wreak. And I could tell you if you did enough sites that on average in a C3 site you would make 50 mill a site and I was usually only 10% off either way or so usually closer so there is obviously a average which below and above that is less likely which enables you to change drop rates.

they have done it before as I said but they documented it last time they change C1 and C2 holes the most because they were more profitable than C3's which was fun while it lasted, and everyone was ignorant to it so C1's were totally empty but more profitable : / *sights*

I find that CAOD generates words which are indistinguishablee from complete randomness.

The DEVS enjoy tears . The way to make the nano drops go up is to stop whining on the forums. Be a big boy, and realize that as a wormholer, you are already among the elite in EVE, and that with high sec Incursion bears nerfed, you already are getting good reward vs risk.

Oh, look! ^ I see a Tasiv above me.

oh look its a Rall... if you keep watching it it will do a trick...

You people never tell me anything.

Isn't this the same argument for when someone has a good run while doing exploration, and then they have a few bad sites?

"WAAAAAAA EXPLORATION IS BROKEN!!!!!!"

Or, you know, the dice just aren't rolling right for you at the moment. The drop rate hasn't changed, you're just on the downward swing.

Can you hear them? They are calling to us. It is beautiful. http://thegreattichim.wordpress.com/
