Thanks for the useful information.

One question, how long does it take for the police to arrive.

ie: If you book mark someone while in a pod, do you have enough time to get a ship out an orca in space, as station would shoot at you, then warp and gank someone or are we talking about seconds before police arrive?

Of course once you start shooting someone, concord are going to arrive so then it is over anyway....but was wondering if you have the time to make a hit before the police get there which I understand they will do if you just sitting in space in a ship doing nothing.

You have time to get into a ship from an orca and warp somewhere and start shooting them, yeah, random npc-corp blackbird on grid could ECM **** you even before concord gets there though.

my main was undocking in a tempest by the time it took the shield tanked pest to align the police had spawned and I was unable to warp. When I clicked warp, I got the usual external blah blah blah are preventing you from warping. When I looked at the overview, sure enough I was scramed and unable to warp. I had to re-dock. My main's security status at that point was -4.61 he was not red but an enemy to the faction, the system was a .5 security system, this all happened in amarr space.

His persona standings towards the amarr empire (cant remember the name right now) is actually on the positive side. But apparently your security status is more important than your faction standings.

So what your saying is that the faction police will act differently against an enemy of the faction then an outlaw? I´ve been bumming around in amarr highsec while I was active in the minmatar militia and never had a police other then concord scramming me.

ALL FACTION police can scram. Whether this is low standings, or sec status.

I even went as far as getting a GM to confirm this, after reading enough herp-derp on here about "they don't scram, just web!"

There's a chance for both.

"Do not touch anything unnecessarily. Beware of pretty girls in dance halls and parks who may be spies, as well as bicycles, revolvers, uniforms, arms, dead horses, and men lying on roads -- they are not there accidentally." -Soviet infantry manual,

+1 yep, I think, not sure, unable to confirm, but assuming. . .

The bigger the ship - the slower to align and warp off.
The more time you spend sitting there (aligning) the more e-war the police can put on you, making life or moving around a bit challenging.
