What is this rubbish, I can't even fit a single mining laser on this drake. Evil

Post with your monkey.

Get into BCs and do what?

Hi-sec miners are an easy target because you know where to find them and you know they can't shoot back. What do you plan to do with 6,000 bcs? Who's going to coordinate them? You ready to take on the job? How do you find the gankers?

In all seriousness you just need one guy who has a calm voice, knows how to call fleet align, warp, hold, jump and primary, and has the balls to tell all the whiny carebears in channel to STFU and listen. You've already been given your roaming destination...

There you have it. If nothing else, do it for the lulz. If you actually had 6k BC's you could have your way with any force you came across because you'd probably lock the system down with soul crushing lag.

+1 for soul crushing lag. Big smile

It's actually a really good idea. Not that it'd stop Hulkageddon or even impact it at all, but if any of you completely antisocial AFK-Hulk types actually tried speaking with other players, let alone banding together and doing something with them, you'd probably have a lot more fun and be a lot less miffed by losing an internet spaceship.

Having fun is important in EVE.

Unlike us you don't have to sit on titans listening to Boat stories. Well ... actually ~

Probably the same reason nobody responded when Chicken Little ran around screaming the sky is falling.
Then, we could all be ancestors of the kid who said, "The king has no clothes."

What you're seeing is a general lack of intelligence and education among the dregs that remained after anyone with any sense left town....going on two years ago. Think about it...Mitt...a leader in the playerbase? Yeah. Times are getting slim.

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

Just out of curiosity, why not an organized response to the new Goon sponsored "emergent gameplay"?

There is going to be a sh*tpile of whine coming in response to the Goons indefinite extension of Hulkageddon.

Why not take two or three months away from mining and organize to respond to it by taking the fight to the goons. Most miners could easily get into a BC and could probably afford to buy several dozen.

Five or six thousand angry carebears shipped up to battlecruisers could be pretty annoying.

If anything it could be fun. What the hell else are you going to do... mine?

Just a thought

Now you just need a target. And that would be that unique compound that comes from those moons they mine that goes into making a hulk. That compound is your target. Now organize your troops and go clean out a few months supply of the stuff or more. Besides they are busy in high sec with hulkaggedon. WHo is left guarding the hen house?

Yep. 6000 drakes can quickly reinforce a POS.

Of course you'd have to come back later on, and probably would find 1000+ goons and a supercapital fleet there but don't worry ! The titan nerfs will allow you to prevail !

The problem is, all carebears that think along the same line as you are asking the same question you are.

"Why doesn't someone organize a response?"

Get what I'm saying?

From what I can tell from the above comments, the following are the choices for miners at this point:

  1. Sit in station and cry
  2. Log out and cry on the forums
  3. Unsubscribe and cry
  4. Get blown up and cry

last time someone tried this the whole leadership team jumped ship within 4-8 weeks and the "anti-goons" alliance became a TEST pet shortly after (the remaining carebears grasping the only straw they could find).

The thing is...

Every time a pve/indy corp gets aggressed through a war dec or whatever and they decide to fight back, the following happens. They get together with the whole bunch in frigates, cruisers, bcs and the odd battleship. Then they strap on the faliest fit they can find on battleclinic. With much zeal, motivation, numbers and the idea that their enemy is outnumbered and outgunned they undock. And then, they learn that they know nothing about session timers, tracking, range, ewar, logistics, aggression, ship types, gun types, range of missiles, ammo, etc... And then they die miserably. Which isn't such a bad thing because we all have to start somewhere, but your average person who is forced to participate in pvp sees this differently. Smack ensues, followed by tear extraction and a **** storm occurs on the forums.

Not saying that this is the case with all pve corps. But getting solo miners to engage in any form of organized pvp is a sure way to set sail for fail. Especially if their target is supposed to be a null alliance like the goons. What good can come from this, other than more attention whoring the forums?

Yeah, I really wonder what people think a bunch of people with little to no combat experience are going to accomplish crashing against the bubbles and supercap fleets of a major nullsec alliance.

They simply must be trolling.
