I would say most everything on steam is cheaper than a Monocle. That being said did you see the sale of petrodox stuff, 87% off!

Sure, a battleship with thousands of crew and a pair of pants cost the same, makes tons of sense. Do the crew have their own pants? Can I confiscate them and sell them?

A week's grocery shopping.
Filling the car with fuel from empty is about half a monocle at current prices.
A day out in London costs less than a monocle! Transport into and around, lunch, dinner, a few drinks, and a bottle of water so I don't doze off on the train home.
New headphones! £35 each.

Nex (Cash Shop) / Aurum - removing sand from the sandbox since Incarna. Currently the only use for aurum is to buy virtual items in the in-game store, but Cockerill expects to expand its uses in the future.

A hotel for two nights.
A dinner date at an expensive restaurant.
Doctor Who season 5 on DVD.
The EvE Online game itself.
A night out at the bar with friends.
A three month course at Austin Community College.


Nothing, because I got all my NeX gear for ISK.

You should have made a thread about what you can buy with botting and RMT'ing in SOV controlling alliances.

So far we've seen transactions for thousands of dollars right here on the EvE-O forums. Much more interesting.

I don't know about you man, but I always have stuff I could be doing IRL. Whenever I grab a few hours of playtime, there is always work I could be doing. I am never, not for one second, completely responsibility free. If it takes half an hour for me to earn a monocle, then that time has IRL cost.

If your cost is zero, then your time is worthless, and you can come sort my rice grains, because you clearly aren't doing anything else of consequence in your life.

For those who never visited our beautiful city.. public transportation via sms-ticket cost, for a 25mins trip from suburbs to central city, and then back = as much as playing EVE online one month. The monthly fee is a great discount but still damn expensive. It's the NeX store of RL.

But let's see, alot of good stuff mentioned like free to play games etc.. hmm.
My monthly internet, telephone and cellphone bills combined is less than any item from the NeX store.

I would post here but most of the stuff on ops list is not cheaper than the plex store.

Why Can't I have a picture signature.

Also please support graphical immersion, bring back the art that brought people to EvE online originaly.

People don't seem to understand that PLEXes are paid by real money.
