hmm i've read the linked post and it only says hulks and mackinaws.

why no covetors and other mining stuff? they'll just move to any other mining ships and no one will bother looking for hulks any more since there won't be any around.

nobody uses Skiffs in hisec and T1 barges aren't worth the time

npc alts have no opinions worth consideration

nevermind ... this game is doomed for short time, but in a long run im sure CCP will kill those morons with ideas like that.

it's all about money.

I'm a diplomat. Sometimes i throw 425mm wide briefcases at enemy. Such is EVE.

He means they don't generate ISK from killing T1 barges. There is no moongoo needed to build a T1 barge. The replacement of Hulks however benefits them.

Most people are just too stupid to understand the whole idea of this and you actually deserve what you get from it.
Goons would be far less of an issue if people would actually start to use the grey mass in their heads.

Systems with CONCORD sovereignty are more difficult (if not impossible) for true Dread Pirates to gank in. Hisec islands are generally quiet. Systems without stations are quiet and viable if you have an Orca alt to move things around with.

My predictions of possible outcomes:

- everyone will start flying Retrievers and Covetors.
- CCP will get spammed with "griefing" rulebreaks.
- Goonswarm will get broke.
- MOAR TEARZ.

- Nothing will happen, since all this does is give people an incentive to continue behavior that already exists.

And I doubt Goonswarm will go broke anytime soon. We make a TRILLION isk a month in Tech.

A) Based on more exact figures I have seen, for every hulk purchased OTEC makes 200 Mil. That means only 1 in 20 gankees have to buy a new hulk for it to remain economically feasible.

B) If they don't buy a new one, instead of increasing demand for hulk, the decreased supply of minerals, which means, wait for it... More isk for the people who knew this was coming and stockpiled(also any miners who are still running their lazors.)

Its a win-win for everyone but the person who kept mining in a hulk in highsec after being told time and time again what a bad idea it is because :hulkageddon:

you will keep gouging lumps out of eve, untill your spite forces ccp to nerf our freedom to gank in order to try bring back the people you drive out.
these people you gank out of eve are part of the mainstream human population, and you are a minority, though it may not feel like it, surrounded as you are with a minority mentality

For the most part I don't care what people do to each other. To me it is all part of the game.

However...

In my short time of game play I have noticed changes that makes it safer for people in HI as my short time here progressed. All I see happening here, is more people are going to complain and then HI will become even more safe.

With inferno changes it affectively killed my one man war dec corp since I don't have the isk to pay 300mil from 16mil a week to wardec 3 corps.

Cause and affect...

I see a no PVP Zone in the future if things like this continue, then people screaming cry moar at people who do not like the fact that they might loose their hulks.... must not cry either when they can no longer shoot at those hulks in Hi.

If gankers/goons goal is to create a permanent safe zone in EVE for people who would like to OP-OUT of PVP, all you need to do is continue down this road.
