First: i'm sorry if this is many times questioned and answered. I'm really fail with forum digging.

Let's say i sell some item X for Y amount of ISK. There is another sell orders for this item in this station with Y+1, ... Y+999 ISK price.

Now i'm checking my transaction history and see 1 item sold for Y + 1. Some time i see items sold for (whatever bigger than Y). But every time i get Y or more ISK.

So the question: how they do it so they buy my items for BIGGER price than i'm asked for? I guess there is some market mechanics i don't know about.Oops

imagine you want to buy a stack of maybe 10 items, the top order has 3 items, the next one 4 and the 3rd one 15.
you could now buy either the 3+4+3 (of 15) from each stack or buy 10 from the 3rd stack. if you choose the second, than i takes automatic 10 items, clearing all stacks until 10 units are bought but with the prices from the 3rd stack.... pretty easy isnt it?

well. yes. this is easy.

However: in this case my stock should be emptied isn't it? And this didn't happen. I only sold 1 of my 50 items.

Because, you get the price that they put in, regardless of what your price is.

If your Item X is 100isk, and guy below you has 105isk, and buyer right click buys his order, it goes to you, for 105isk

Also some people are stupid and click on any damn thing they want to buy in station and never look at the price... but the sale always goes to the lowest selling priced order. Nice to sell 5000 cruise missiles and get 500M when you were expecting 1M!
