Faction/deadspace mods in SISI

I don't know if this has been addressed already but what is the negative point in having faction/deadspace to officer mods in SISI market now? I use sisi mainly to test new solo fits and usually they need a bit of faction to fit properly, like faction hardeners or platings. those are real cheap in tranquility so many players do use them.

Anyone know of a reason for this?

You pretty much said the problem right there....People who spend their time on sisi only to test new fits for tq, instead of actually testing the game, and if they find a bug, they won't bug report it. If faction/officer mods would be seeded, what would be the reason to keep playing TQ if sisi has everything tq has, but than pretty much free.

And modules wouldn't get tested anymore, since everyone would use complete deadspace fitted ships only. Don't get me wrong, I'd love if I could do that, but it would ruin the server.

for legitimate reasons not to seed faction/deadspace modules on sisi, this isn't one of them. People test their fits on sisi so they can use those fits on the "real" server. Normal modules will be tested... since on tranquility people can't always use expensive modules.

Seeding faction/dead space modules helps missioners to "test run" their EFT fits for real. It can only have positive effects on Tranquility's economy since people are more willing to buy those modules--on the real server--after they test out the fits on sisi.

What the above poster said. SISI is all fun and free but it won't match the real server. And it makes sense to test your fits before you go use them.

It can be abused as people will fly ridiculously tanked ships if they have access but the benefits will outweigh these slight discomforts i assume.

Having these modules seeded would break any chance at having SiSi resemble TQ. You're best chance at testing these modules is either:
A. Rat for them
B. Have them when the server mirrors
C. Whore Jita

you could try asking some trader to use his mirror on Sisi to send you the modules you want.

How did you come to that assumption? I am asking for these modules for the very reason that i want t test them so that i can use it on tranquility.

Like i said, there will be someone who will pimp out their ship and fly around but who cares about them?

right now, you can't fit your ships like what you do in tranquility. Imo, adding those mods will perfectly resemble the tranquility status.

Though I have in detail gone over my views on faction mods (and up), you guys might want to read this post https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=116241&find=unread
