Drones on aggressive don't attack can-thieves.

I have always been told different, need to find confirmation.

Easy enough. Find a friend, get in noobships (all of which can fit a drone), put drones on aggressive, can flip. And twiddle your thumbs.

Or you could use this magic thing called "google".

My google results support my first statement so I stand by my suggestion.

I've been mining with your suggestions and its working great! The Vex is a much better ship than my Navitas and the drones take care of the AI easily. Thanks a lot :D

Regarding refining, I would suggest just selling the ore until you have a perfect refine (or just stockpiling the ore if you don't need the cashflow)

If you are on the mining and industry side of things, chances are you already know how to fly industrials. If you can fly an industrial that can hold 8000 m3 cargo, you can do level 4 distribution missions. I have grinded up two NPC corps past the 6.67 perfect refine mark using just distribution missions.

On the other hand, if you don't want to bother with the refinery skills and grinding up rep, you are better off just selling the ore.

A third option could be joining a corp who has someone with a perfect refine who doesn't mind taking your ore and handing you back the loss-free minerals.

In the cat-and-mouse game that is low sec, there is no shame in learning to be a better mouse.

Yeah, at the moment I just stockpile the ore until I run out of ISK, then I just refine and sell the minerals. My refining is at level 4 at the moment, I plan to take it to level 5 after I finish training up my industrial to level 5 (about 14 days left) so I can use the Iteron V. At the moment I'm using an Iteron III with three expanded cargo hold IIs, giving me around 12000 m3. Thanks for the tip with the distribution missions, I'll look into those. I want to eventually get into production, but I'm still a little clueless as to doing that well, along with all the calculations as to how to be more profitable by mining it myself rather than buying the minerals etc. Learning all these new things is fun Big smile
