Lowsec is ****, nullsec is good, wormholes are the best.

For isk making.

Im having success ratting in null sec in a stealth bomber. They drop faction modules from time to time worth millions. Just make sure you keep an eye on local. Your a prime target for someone hunting and they will drop on you if your not paying attention.

Looked up...saw this F***ING clown dropping like a rock.  Woke up in Vylade wondering what just happened!!!

with your hair and cheekbones, no.

But if you like killing stuff, scanning sites, raiding worm holes, punching null bears in the back and screaming in local than low sec is for you!

I wanted to paint my space ship red, but I couldn't find enough goats.

SB is a great bird for low- and null-sec ratting. Also excellent for WH piracy. They are NOT good ships for L4/L5 missions. You'll get roflpopped fast...and, even if you don't go boom, it will take 3 days to do one mission.

Low- and null-sec mission running is extremely profitable if you blitz them. The rewards in ISK and LP are markedly higher, making it worthwhile to just slam through them as fast as possible.

In Hi-sec, it's still more profitable (IMHO) to cherry-pick good missions and full-clear them. Invest in a Noctis and mission within 2 jumps of your port of call. Clear it with your BS/Tengu and then switch into your Noctopus to slurp up all the loot/salvage.

I make 40-50M isk/hour in a hi-sec hub with numerous L4 agents in system and/or within a jump or two. I can virtually guarantee a good L4 mission from at least 1 of them at any given time. No, the potential isk/hour ceiling is not nearly as high as it could be in low- or null-sec, but I also operate at a fraction of the risk.

Your call.

You can operate as or more profitably than that rate in null sec (of course, this being word of mouth and everyone lying about their income, take that with a grain of salt), but you'll need a few things in place. Getting decent space, acceptable ships to rat with locally, and quiet or well defended systems with decent rats can be difficult. You'll want to have a way to get safe, and having intel beyond what local tells you can be very useful. Furthermore, knowing how to spot the various traps used to catch you is critical. Knowing when and how to fight in your ratting fit (there's a very simple answer to this) is also key.

That said, if you get good at it, there's good money to be made. I use a setup I can afford to lose (and have lost) to make approximately the rate you claim to make, or perhaps slightly better, doing PvE I find mildly entertaining. Honestly, though the comparative risks wouldn't make it a huge draw - it's the draw of dealing the hostiles that makes null sec PvE attractive, and if it's a deal breaking drawback for you then you're probably not suited to actually living out in null full time.

I don't know WH space, so I can't comment on it too much. My ventures through low sec suggest that the quality of the rats there is awful, so exploration is the most likely draw for there. Highsec, while comparatively safe, isn't risk free either - if you bling out a ship with billions in modules, you become a very attractive target for anyone looking for such things.

edit: I noticed the OP is looking for 'bombers or cheaper'. Bombers work fine against battleship rats, but they're awful against anything smaller. Other frigates are perfectly suitable to other types of money making, and there are a few T1 cruisers which can be carefully fit to do belts OK, but you're unlikely to make steady high money with this sort of activity. Dealing with the PvP of EVE's low and null sec rules is the draw, not the downside.
