Despite me approving of CCP making $$$$ clearly even if you have billions of RL dollars, don't you think this extra money better spent supporting a charity of some sort that will help people in real life rather than punishing someone in "space pixel" game? Don't get me wrong, I'm not least bit worried about this in terms of in game threat rather I'm concerned that perhaps you should reconsider playing MMOs if you cannot have a barrier between RL and space pixels.

People buy yachts, high-priced escorts, home theaters & bowling alleys, $5000 hamburgers. People have spent thousands of dollars on MMO characters and items, EVE probably included.

If the guy's a millionaire or something, his choice on how to spend it his money. I have co-workers at the office who spend $10-$15 on lunch every single day. I spend maybe $2 from something I made at home. Not up to me to tell them to spend $2 like me and donate the other $8-$13 to charity or spend it in some other way. My 5-yr old Toyota Camry gets me to where I need to go and back just as safely and efficiently as somebody else's Bentley. Not up to me to tell them to drive a Camry and donate/spend their money in some other way.

People can wipe their ass with scented, washed $100 bills and flush them down the toilet with their crap, it's none of our business to tell them to do otherwise. People can have tens of thousands of samurai swordsmiths labor for months each to forge and supply them with three butterknife-sized samurai swords per day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, that they'll throw away after eating as casually as you or I throw away the plastic butterknife from the cafeteria. None of our business to tell them otherwise.

I'm not arguing as to how one should spend their RL money. Myself personally I'm well off where I don't need a job and have shiny cars and boats and totally understand the concept of few grand being a pocket change. However, my observation the OP has a vendetta against goons which I can understand. The ways he is proposing to win simply looks like an unhealthy obsession which also involves RL. I'm just trying to perhaps point out a flaw in his approach before someone tries to sKILL HIMSELF again and blame it on goons.

If this happened I believe 90% of the players in Eve would partake in the destruction of DoucheSwarm.

So looking at it this way, it isn't hard to think that in 3 maybe 4 years, everybody is either gonna be a Goon, or will indirectly be working for them.

I agree with some of your thinking.. but the above part is the absurdity that breaks the logical end of your piece. Goons do not actively recruit in game; they scam. They spend their time making enemies as fast as they can because, in their way of thinking, they have all the members they will ever need or they have outside recruiting that allows them to abuse the rest of the population of eve with impunity.

In three or four years we may well see either more extreme abuses from The Goon or they could completely disappear.. It all depends on how bored they get with the game play.

Does that mean that everyone who spends obsessive amounts of RL money on Shiny new Sports cars have the same disorder?

No. Expensive cars can actually hook up chicks IRL.

You mean I can't pull up in front of the mall in mah titan and tell all the hot high school chicks to get in for some sweet lovin'?

Edit: forgot the 'in mah titan' part, which made the joke alot less funny Ugh

well, I would be impressed but I'm no longer in high school and my husband would object very strongly. (that is if your titan didn't completely squash the high school and the whole town when it landed).

I didn't see anything in the OP's post that touched on anything to do with real-life other than real-life money to change into PLEX, to change into ISK, to pay for bounties. Millions of other people have converted real-life money to buy/do stuff in MMOs. Thousands of people in this game have EVEndettas.

I see a guy who made a troll alt, who may or may not have shitloads of money, and if he does, it's pocket change, and if he's for real, considers bountying you guys his entertainment.

That being said his system (if it's anything more than a troll) is crap -- "whoever blows up the most spaceships gets this much ISK", and so on.

I thought CCP will be sorting this by moving around moon goo and thus reducing the Goon monopoly?

Someone is sitting cloaked in VFK, is this the Goonageddon? Or was it that gang of ships that got crushed by the NCDot roam?
