I've been grinding out my leadership skills with a remap geared toward doing them and I'm getting close to the end of my skill plan. I'm sitting here looking at Information Warfare Spec V & wondering if it's really worth the 17 days or so to train, just to fluff out the last level V spec skill I need.

It would look nice to have all those spec skills & V but anyone ever actually use Information Warfare links? Most of the times in the past I've always use or been in gangs that just used the big 3. (Armored, Siege & skirmish links)

I'm remapped for it now, but part of me say yea go ahead I've stuck with the first 8 mil in leadership, might as well finish off that last little bit.. Then other half says that 17 days sure would look nice sitting on another BS V.

So anyone have any good reasons to train that last spec skill to V?

Usefull if you have a ewar squad in a 20+ gang. Or if you're a mad kistune/keres pilot.

And because of ganglinked falcons.

It is a totally useless skill unless you are fitting the link.

I have an alt that actually trained that skill first, because I wanted perfect Gallente Command skills in an EOS. And another alt, that trained it last because I wanted a perfect looking skillsheet. The fact that I will probaby never remap for that again also infuenced me. This kind of thinking led me to train Mining Foreman as well :/

I rarely use either alt tbh, and when I do, it's even rarer that I'm in a booster ship with links. If I'm in a Command ship, it's more likely the DPS version. Or a BC with one link only.

Unless it's all about the skillsheet, I think level IV is fine. I'd be willing to bet, you will use that BS V a LOT more than you will ever use that Information Warfare Spec V.

Also, applying that 17 days to the Command Ship Skill itself, might be more useful with the same end bonus. It gets down to micro math at some point on the bonus's... Same for a boosty T3.

It's pretty nice for the sensor strength ganglink. A loot of fleet booster builds call for that, because even without the mindlink, +28% Sensor Str is pretty nice

It's behind Skirmsh/Armour/Seige in priority, though.
