Would fweddit members be interested in a joint Rifterlings/Fweddit roam into nullsec, for the purposes of learning more organized fleet combat with maybe some fitting advice on the side?

I guess these guys want to be the new SOTF/WBR bropact but at the Frigate level. LOL

There is nothing wrong with this under some circumstances, WTs have teamed up against 3rd parties since FW began.

A blue op against neutrals is good fun. It's significantly different from the SOTF/WBR sov warfare thing.

It's a blue op with WTs. The rest of Minmatar can thank Rifterlings when Fweddit decides to curbstomp you guys into obvlilion should they ever become good.

But seriously, it just seems wrong to go help your enemy to become better. Rifterlings is better off spending it's time helping their own allies become better.

There's nothing wrong with seeking a challenge by either seeking out a difficult opponent, fight against the odds, or even work in conjunction with the enemy from time to time so that both may prosper ... and eventually bring a better fight for both sides.

I approve of this newfound brosef love between Rifterlings and the Mighty Fweddit, spacewarriors extraordinaire :)

First of all, we Minmatar are not in danger of getting curbstomped by Fweddit for many, many moons.

Second of all, joint ops between Amarr and Minmatar have always taken place. I've teamed up and merged fleets with Predator Elite, Eran Mintor and all those other old-hat Amarr USTZ FCs when there is something mutually beneficial that could result. I'm friends with a hell of a lot of people in Amarr militia or who are now ex-Amarr. We sometimes even invite Shalee to comms when there is nothing happening just to shoot the ****, lol.

The only problem that would arise from joint ops is when you are prioritizing your WTs over your own Militia or blues, but to each their own.

There is nothing at all wrong with fleeting up with the other side in FW and going to go kill pirates or do some null sec roams. Caldari & Galentte have done it many times in the past.. (not so much lately).

The problem IMO, comes when groups like WBR & SoTF fleet up and interfere with normal functions with-in FW it's self. If they have a respect for what FW is they should keep their joint fleets away from things that interfere with normal FW fighting.

No one really cares that they like to fly together other than maybe some RPers. What people have problems with is they interfered with fighting that was going on between Amarr & Minmatar. That was a bad call on SoTF & WBR part and they cheapen FW for doing it.

You don't have to be a role player to at least have a little respect for the basic principles of the intended game mechanics. There is a difference between playing in a sand box & trying to game the game just because you can.

There is no intended game mechanics, that's just a fancy expression for "how I'd like game mechanics to be" . There is just game mechanics. Following your train of thought (well, trainwreck of thought since it colided with reality the second you hit "post"), ninjas are ruining the intended game mechanic of missioning, gankers and wardecs are ruining the intended game mechanic of peaceful mining, etc.

Is it cheapening FW ? Maybe (allthough I'd still argue it enriches it in content) , but cheapening something is not against the rules or spirit of a game that's based at least as much on destroying (assets, systems, concepts) as on building. If you think eve is about destroying only spaceships, then you obviously haven't played enough. And, no, sorry no one is gonna change your little slice of Eve (FW) to be only about destroying spaceships,(as much as you'd like that), because it would be inconsistent with the rest of the game environment.

TL;DR Deal with it.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA Confirming hard that FW people cry about everything. Learn to read and see that it was a proposed fleeting into null (please shoot CVA, please shoot CVA) so it doesn't stomp on your precious roleplay toes.

I for one like fleeting up with people I then go back to shooting afterwards- it's always good fun.
