Thanks for linking those photos of the San Francisco Eve Meet. Looks like there was at least a dozen people there. Definitely a good turn out.

Not to mention it looks like you guys had some good food and good fun on the best kind of ship, the friendship.

Murrieta / Menifee area. Just resubbed after about a year trying to get my job and family situation in gear. Completely lost on all the changes, lol.

Can't imagine ever driving all the way to Poway on a Tuesday night so nix on that. Besides, I'm more of a semi-closeted eve player. Wouldn't be caught dead at Comic-con... But it would be nice to have some kind of in game contacts as all mine are big bad 0.0 meanies that don't talk to me anymore Roll

The San Diego Area Eve Meet is held in a very nice venue with good drinks and great food. The Eve Meet itself has quite a few members who show up regularly and most of them usually stay late so arriving late is no problem. I know you'd enjoy yourself very much and I think it's definitely worth the time to check it out.

I'm not doubting its a great place with great people attending. I'm not sure how much you know about SoCal though; Poway is about an hour south of me, easily. With traffic, on a tuesday, when I could be home with my wife and my daughter and preparing for work the next day... yeah.

EDIT: According to Goggle maps the exact address of the meet up is 2 1/2 hours EEEK!

LOL, I work in SD county but get out early and my wife would beat me unmercifully if I took off on a tuesday to "Hang out with a buncha nerds" ...even though she married one Roll

But I added the California Capsuleers chat room yesterday. Saw a few people on but no conversation (it was a wednesday night, no big deal). I'll be around this weekend in game for sure. Hope to catch some of you. Jiggawhut Huren is my alt btw.

I've lived here in SoCal all my life so I would say I know the area very well and how bad Freeway traffic can get here. I live in Orange County and have gone to the Poway Eve Meet a couple of times. Traffic going south at that time is actually pretty good and afterwards there's definitely no traffic.

According to Map Quest the drive time from Murrieta to Poway is less than an hour, straight down the 15 Freeway. You might even consider having your wife attend the Eve Meet with you. As I said before, it's a great venue with excellent food and good drinks. Also the last time I went which was about a month ago there was a couple of females there so it's not exclusively all male.

However, I can understand your situation and I definitely don't want to be the cause of domestic problems.

As for the California Capsuleers chat channel, feel free to start a convo in it. Attendance there during the week is random but it should be much better on the weekend.

LOL, the only good traffic is between 9pm and 5am, otherwise never, and i live 3 exits away from poway road.

I'm sorry to inform everyone that the Los Angeles Eve Meet group is no longer listed on the California Capsuleers message board. As such I'm removing that listing from this thread.

Hopefully in the future somebody will host a monthly Los Angeles Eve Meet again.
