The other side, my DOB in eve was 4/1/2004 I have used no implants, and lost a few sp's due to un upgraded clones, i'm sitin at 128m.. yea I should of used implants lol

For a ballpark figure, I use ~20 million SP per year:

20,000,000 SP per year / 365.2425 days per year / 24 hours per day = 2281 SP per hour

Not a bad estimate, and a nice round SP figure.

200,000,000 SP ≈ 10 years.

The EVEboard global ranks shows 145,863,746 around 1690 position, if you are curious about your peers.

At 7.94 years, my estimate for you would be 160m, which you are pretty close to; only 15m behind, or 3/4 of a year, which is pretty good considering the early days of EVE.

I'm 13m SP ahead of the estimate applied to myself at 5.54 years, but I've had the benefit of learning skill removal, implants, and the skill queue, for nearly my entire "life"; I started 2 weeks before Apocrypha, DOB = 2009-02-24 02:00:00. I still have a few years to go to 200m SP though!

Please mind that for the first 3-4 years (untill 2007 i believe), 12-15m/year is far more likely due to learning skills and implants (advanced learning skills weren't added untill 2005 or so, as were +4/+5 implants).

Personally i still regret not having trained learning skills to 5 as soon as possible. I think i maxed them all in late 2006 and never had +5's untill 2009 :/

is it just my imagination or did competition in the Skillpoints category drop off after 200 million?

for the longest time, sub-200mil was around 180-182nd place...and now 201,402,874 is ranked 144.

is it just an update lag thing?

Yes, it's been a slow and painful process.... Oh how i long to get all those years of not having trained learning skills or not having used any implants at all back :(

On approach to the 240 million mark myself, and slowly but surely the skill list turns all into gold.....Working on the 204th skill to lvl 5 and it's a rank 8 one with 13 days left to go, so that will add near 2 million SP if the website tracking this stuff didn't drop me off all of a sudden.


30 million SP to go and I'll get every ship related skill maxed out, so just over a year and 3 months from now...I can see the finish line...Lol

28 skills added to the queue, all using the same attributes for a total of 392 days of training, leaving only some scraps left in gunnery/ missiles and drones left to max out, but those are using different attributes and I still have 3 spare remaps...LOL

And we're not far off the 250 million sp mark now, and 211 skills to lvl 5.


Made a monster skill queue with a lot of skills that most don't give more than a 2% bonus, so it's really pathetic gains for the training time investment, but it totals 580 days in total so the char is busy till the end of next year, and I hardly log on these days .....All of them are perception and willpower skills, so the attributes are mapped towards those obviously.
