Eve Launcher Bug

I can't be bothered filing a petition or bug report as I have already have found a work around but:

When I open the Eve Launcher I get a pop up box saying "No Internet connection" (paraphrased) There is a quit button at bottom left and a start Eve Online button at bottom right.

If I hit start Eve Online - Eve online starts up and connects to Tranquillity
