It seems to me that everyone has a different opinion what a space whale is...

So we should come to an agreement to what a Space Whale is...

Some people say the Orca (names a give away), I'm leaning to the Charon, mainly on how it looks.... Even one highly intelligent person said a Dominix...

So what ship do you think the Space Whale is?

If you cannot think of one, then would you like an actual space whale?

And if so, what "features" would you like it to have?
Maybe the ability to nom on rocks as it flys by?
Or just take massive space *****. (asteroid placement)
Or would you like it to be like the mighty sprem whale, so it can launch a bazillion drones into space.

You decide, and speak up!!!

If we don't speak up and demand insane and god awful things, then who will?
..............oh wait, the people who are always pissed off at CCP. Yeah, they'll ***** about anything.

(Keep up the good work CCP)

I've always thought of a 'Dreadnought' as being something big, slow, and deadly, Along with having thousands of guns and spikes and stuff, something that makes you dread it's appearance.

The term space whale reminds me of some scifi, but can't remember which one. Maybe Star Wars Clone Wars... I'll google it up, hold on.

Yes. Preferably titan-sized, and they randomly roam from system to system.

Also space harpoons, to hunt space whales with.

Space whales, once killed and looted, should provide the raw materials to construct space lamp oil and space perfume.

Maelstrom, hands down. The way it turns has an uncanny resemblance to a whale rolling over on the surface.

EDIT: unfortunately, I couldn't find a decent short clip of the 4-dimensional space whale from Futurama's "Mobius ****" to feature as my secondary vote, so here's a completely unrelated clip in its place. Enjoy!

So close...

Orca are the largest members of the dolphin family.

Therefore, it' should be excluded due to RL reference of alternate family.

Found it... Star Wars - The Clone Wars - Season 1 - Episode 3 "Shadow of The Malevolence".

General Grievous was ganking everybody with "The Malevolence", a titan class ship equipped with a capital nosferatu. He was spotted trying to hotdropgank an alliance evacuation convoy. There was a CTA and friendly capital fleet was sent but they feared the malevolence would be gone when they get there. So, Luke formed fleet of ceptors/bombers and went ahead to try to tackle.

On the way there, they took a shortcut trough a merxcoit cloud and that's when they found a gang of space whales (11:50 on the episode).

They later found the Malevolence, who fired at the fleet with the capital nosferatu, leaving half the fleet out of cap. Lucky for Luke, Grievous screwed up and overloaded/damaged the capital nosferatu module. Soon after, Obi-Wan jumped in with capital support. Episode ends with the Malevolence trying escape and Obi-Wan's capital fleet trying to break his tank.

Who was it back in the days of forum signatures that put a whale tail on the Domi and had it coming out of the water?

Believe me, when you see that sig there you will see that nothing else comes close in comparison.

ahh, that's what's happening there. I thought these were terms from the star wars episode, and I was thinking "holy crap, did the people that made this episode just decide to go rip off an eve null battle and add star wars characters?"

LOL, the episode might use different terminology but if you watch it, that's pretty much what happened.
