A great read for sure. Thank you for creating it for us all to see your perspective on the week.

It was most certainly one of the most intense weeks of pvp i have seen since being in the militia.

I may look at writing one up from our point of view though i wasn't around for a lot of the US tz action past a certain point, and the final evening i was out of it.

Will look into it though.

Thanks to everyone who exploded and made it a great week of pew on both sides. Lets hope to have some action similar to this again some time.

Great write up, and great week of Pew Pew. Perhaps we can schedule major offensives in the future and re-create this insanity ? Without the stations it will be difficult for the attacker, but damn this week was fun !

And trolling aside. The thing I love about our front is that, whilst we troll the living **** out of each other and bad mouth each others tactics.....Whenever a good write up is created (on either side) both side appreciate it.

Unlike other theatres of EVE, we know that whislt we hate each other we love each other and that there is an admiral sense of war between us.

Now, that said......I hope the minmitar diaf Lol

Good write up.

It's been a blast the last two weeks in FW, I'm glad I came back to it and I couldn't have picked a better time. Amarr have been absolute basterds, and we love that. There is nothing better than an enemy that doesn't stop fighting.

We look forward to shooting Amarr more, and whomever else they bring along to play in the coming weeks. The new mechanics are going to make things very interesting. Love them or hate them, the new changes will bring a period of flux, new outside faces and overall surge to lowsec as we've seen already.

What’s great about the new system is that I think we will see this happen when a critical system is close to flipping. Right now Lamaa is hanging around 50% for the past couple of days, but if it gets pushed to 80-90% I bet you will see an escalation of activity leading up to multiple large battles…Big smile

At least that is what I expect to happen.

Great summary Zee.

Much respect to all the Minmatar that we fought against. We certainly had our back against the wall on a few occasions, but we were able to pull it out and save key systems. Was definitely one of the most exciting week/weekends in FW that I've had in a long time. Didn't even care that I was losing ships every night. Big smile

Excellent writeup. This is exactly the kind of warfare I was looking for when I signed up for EVE online, but I have not found it yet. Perhaps somebody could point me in the direction of a good place to start with FW for a relative noob such as myself.(12 mil SP, Pure minmatar, T2 Frigs/Cruisers/Projectiles/Tank/etc).

Great post.

I was on holidays (starting from Fan Fest) until the 24-48 hours before patch (with much sleep and work to occupy that time), so I did miss alot of the action Sad

From my limited time fighting and from reading/talking to people about what went on, it is a great example of what we have told CCP FW could be like if given some love.

The only downside I see to all of this is that I think CCP dropped the ball with the Escalation pre-patch. Knowing the mechanics that were to come (including the station lock out that scared the crap out of so many and made them evacuate assets to non-FW systems, the NPC balances we have long been asking for SHOULD have been applied to give Amarr a better chance at counter plexing - its hard to take systems when outnumbers (out problem) AND facing harder NPCs).

Big kudos to WBR and allies for helping 7th fleet around saht and holding Kamela and big kudos to 7th fleet and other residents of saht for holding the area and then moving to assist in Kamela in that last 24 hours where it was touch and go either way.

i believe tangent is joining the fight for amar so expect some more ships to be out and about come next week. (need to build up my cash after a wormhole fiasco cost me everything but 3 ships my t3's and noctis :) ) but ill be out there in cruisers frigates bc's and battleships. ready to do my part and get some good fights. maybe a little something on the side but meh.
