EVE General Discussion

Eve itself is making leaps and bounds and getting better (or worse in some peoples' opinions), but what of Eve Gate and the forums? There are background updates, but never devblogs or any actual announcements of what changed. This has been brought up before, and there was never any dev response of any kind, so... seeing as how it's not going to change, let's keep track of it ourselves.

Things that have been recently fixed:

• Notifications mostly un-borked. Mostly.
• We can now type &, %, < and > without breaking links in my post. CCP are finally getting what this "BBCode" thing is.
• "Unsubscribe" button for threads!

Things that are still broken, recently broke, or are missing common-sense features:

• Going to a thread that has a notification puts you at the OP, instead of at the first new post. Likes take you to the liked post, why can't this do the same?
• Composing a mail from Eve Mail is still the worst idea ever. Emails are not displayed right when they contain quote marks, any "HTML" formatting (these things: < >) is not allowed, links are missing, and even the built-in formatting breaks (just today a line of bold text got deleted from a mail when I sent it, for example)
• If you try to write anything on the forums or Eve Gate using your phone, you're going to have a bad time.

What about you? What do you like/dislike about the forums or Gate, and what have you noticed change over time?
