The hulls of he reworked Amarr ships look dull and muddy to me as well. The "highlights" for Carthum Conglomerate ships in particular looks like they're waddle-and-daub... from soil where slave blood has been spilled. T2 "gold" has gone from an actual gold colour to a very weathered bronze.... Sad

The problem with slavery is that only half of the manacles are visible. The Holder, supposed master, is equally bound by the gilded chains of privilege and wealth.

I kinda like the new color, it reflect a more realist gold. However, I have a concern... the shader seems a bit too dark, especialy in system with low environnement lighting. Sometimes, all I can see of my Retribution are the lights and the edges.

I can see all of your ship, every last detail in space, in that picture.
Have you tried playing with the brightness of your screen?

note: CCP, - this is why eve REALLY needs its own client specific brightness, contrast & gamma settings that are *client specific*. Load up a Turbine client and go into Options/Graphics/adv. for a great example of what i'm referring to.

I knew someone would come up with that... but I guess brightness of my screen shouldnt be the problem if the previous shader wasnt too dark? I dont ever have to adjust brightness for other races ship and in other games so I believe the shader is the problem.

Kuehnelt: Yeah, I realized I undocked with the wrong ship afterward... but the problem is the same with both of them. Bigger ships are less troublesome but still, they are too dark.

I don't really care what colour they go with, but when I have a hard time seeing the damn ship it takes away from my experience. Lighten them up a bit, and put a wee bit of metallic gleam back in.

I like new color scheme. I see no problem with it.
My favorite still Damantion and absolution. Coolest ships imo
