seems like with the expansion, they dropped a whole million all of a sudden?

From what I've seen in game more people are back running wormholes since the incursion nerf.

This is purely anecdotal evidence, but from what I've seen when hunting targets or care bearing wormholes have largely been empty for quite some time. Recently I've seen a considerable number of people running sites and mining in them, even at the times when I play which are off-peak.

I would be tempted to invest in ribbons, but to be honest I cannot see the number of people running them decreasing again unless incursions are put back up to their previous rate of isk/hour. (something which doesn't seem likely)

best time to invest is after the price levels out, not while it's tanking. just sayan.

I should buy an Ishtar.

Well, obviously. But my point was that I probably still won't invest even after it stops tanking, not unless there's some kind of sign players are going to move on to a different activity or T3 demand is going to rise.

Anyone who bought a T3 since the Incursion nerf was announced should give away all their ISK and quit EVE. This was as expectable as mineral prices spiking when the drone nerf was announced.

What, why? The price hasn't dropped that much, would you really wait weeks to buy a replacement t3 just to save a few million?

It's been a few days, wait a couple more weeks and recheck the prices.

If I need a ship, then I need a ship, doesn't matter if prices are high.

Also I was lazy and finally dumped my ribbons and other stuff just this morning. Other stuff, like 580 Power Circuits I've been hoarding since god knows when. Missed out on good deal of potential profit on being so late with the ribbons, but meh, no matter.

It's better to dump them now than later, so you made the right choice.

(Disclaimer; I'm not, nor am I planning to, be trading in Nanoribbons or other T3 items or resources, and thus my advice is not based on a back-room motive to steal all your isk for myself.)

A bigger issue then carebear Incursioners comming into WH's IMHO is that carbear Incursioners after the nerf will no longer be buying T3 legions to blitz Incursion sites. Expect the T3 market to drop like a rock. Already seeing in the Incursion chats a multitude of peeps trying to sell their T3 Incursion ships in ever greater numbers & in 2-3 weeks I expect them to sell them at firesale prices in order to buy plex for thier PvP accounts since PvE has become so unprofitable and non T3 ships prices have jumped due to the Drone NERF.

I expect the ribbon prices to fall further over the summer.

Tengu is still PVE king. Tengu demand will keep the T3 market afloat, it just won't be as ridiculously profitable as previously.

Well T3 sales don't seem to have dropped at all looking at the market stats. But ignoring the evidence you are missing two points:

1) T3s are the primary ships used in wormholes and exploration, hence people moving from incursions to those professions would probably equate to a small net increase in T3 sales. Plus those T3s will be lost considerably more often in wormholes.

2) The number of T3s lost in PvP completely overshadows any demand that was ever generated by incursions.

Not only. Sun and CCP can crash their subscription base just fine by themselves.

on the contrary, CCP soundwave has already stated that he wants to begin un-nerfing incursions, highly unlikely now looks more like imminent.
