Inventory Changes/Fixes Needed

I can't open the overall inventory window if I have any split off versions opened up anywhere else.
Also if I undock or disconnect or anything, it all collapses back into the main window and I have to re-open all of them.
I want my inventory to stay open when I undock, at least the cargohold window. Some of these things don't need the advanced detail stuff either, they could still use the old system.

Can we make it so that the inventory will stay open upon docking, undocking, disconnects of any kind?
Can we also make this button on the neocom open the full main inventory window, ignoring what windows are already up?

I dunno what the Orca view for it looks like just yet though.

Edit: I do know people like to have multiple inventory windows up a lot. Not some multiwindow combination crap thing that resets your layouts every time you disconnect.

The new inventory is horrible, having to open that in space for wrecks is such a pita. I don't understand why CCP can't just insitute legacy options for this stuff. They run around screaming about how the ui is all about customization when it's not, it's more of a 'deal with it' attitude.
I mean, you can still see the old style inventory on the station, but it's tiny and crappy; so why can't I just pull it off the station window and use it like a seperate window like I used to do?

Protip: the inventory window in station & in space are separate windows as far as configuration & location. Open it up in space, make it a tiny little box or whatever like you may have had your ship's cargohold/drone bay window before. At least in my experience now when I open wreaks they open up in the same box as the cargohold, I hit Loot, and the loot moves into the ship and the window returns back to showing the carghold. Now instead of 2 boxes on screen (cargo & wreak) or otherwise trying to smash them together and have them randomly reposition all the time..now it just works!

There are problems with the new inventory system but this isn't one of them. Stop treating it like the old one & play with it some.

Some people prefer it up the pooper. This must be forced upon the rest of us.Big smile

Loot Can is still there, I don't remember where but i saw someone say it wasn't. *shrug* It's still there though.

The Inventory still needs to stop closing every single time you undock, disconnect or other. And it needs to let you open the master window when you have sub windows open on screen.
