Hmm, you know, I just had a thought: maybe it would be better to have the random draw after the auctions.

It's great to see some new blood in the tourney instead of the same familiar (but getting a bit stale) names we've seen over the past few years. Mixing it up is as good for the tourney as it is for the game, and it'll certainly be interesting to see what the 'new guys' can do. Who knows, maybe one of these alliances we've never heard of might be the next tournament powerhouse of the future. Twisted

Also, I think the decision to field RvB as a single alliance was a good compromise. They have a strong pool of pilots to choose from, and a fair amount of experience as long as they don't forget they're on the same side in the tourney hah. Good luck RvB!

This should be an awesome tournament, I for one will be tuning in. *orders a big bucket of popcorn and a case of beer or five*
