Launcher works but no eve...

Hey I've been having issues with EVE since the inferno (not escalation just fyi) update... Its not working. I just downloaded the update and the launcher works fine but when i press the play button nothing happens apart from the launcher auto-quitting (the normal way, no errors) and the client not opening up. I then looked into the contents of the "EVE Online" application, and, as usual went through the normal stuff to get to the contents and such... I went to the actual "EVE Online" application (the client) and it had the big cross of doom line through it... When I tried to launch it from there it simply said "You can't open the application EVE Online because it may be damaged or incomplete."

Any help, or am I missing something totally?

And it would be nice if you didn't say just to redownload the whole thing... I don't want to wait 4 hours for it to download.

I'm having a similar issue where I start the launcher and everything works fine but when EVE tries to start I just get the beach ball of death and i have to force quit, After that every time i try to start EVE launcher works fine but nothing happens after that.

ok im going to completely reinstall the game including the launcher... Hope this works.

Same issue, launcher works, launch eve, nothing but a menu bar that says eve, no game window. Haveto force quit to get eve to exit. wine server is running, but nothing is displayed.

Full disclosure, i'm running an aftermarket, non apple 6870 in a 2008 mac pro. Has worked fine before this, but is not an officially supported apple card.

Im running mine totally stock, 4 gigabytes of ram and my earlier post said the rest... I don't know if there is any correlation between these, it seems that my client just doesn't even start while yours does. I did have internet connection issues while I was downloading the patch, and then once I was quitting a bunch of programs and accidentally quit the eve launcher while it was in the last few stages of the installation. I hope reinstalling the whole thing fixes it... I will get back to you on it tomorrow, Its 2 am here lol.

Ok, just to clarify, it does work when you redownload... I had to try about 10 times for it but got it eventually...
