+1 for the old system.

CCP, we want new things. Changing the interface and making it less intuitive is not new things.

Give us new modules, more ships, more missions, more things to do, give us the ability to select groups of drones with a keystroke.

Give us our old inventory back.

Give us the ability to spin our ships without having to load the horrible 'the Sims' station environment.

Give us the ability to toggle back on the old menu system. I have the icons on the left hand side of the screen too.

I miss being able to easily minimize stuff ot the bottom of the screen.

When you implement interface changes give us the option to enable the old way that we like in the options.

or we wont...

Another failed attempt at bettering something that already works fine. Nice try but just more a pain then helpful.... And the filters?...... omg..... Also i'm sure others will aggree with me on this go to a POS and open the new management system..... get every gun hanger, all structure hangers...... worse thing ever!

Get rid of Unified Item menu and don't even think of reinstating another 'new and improved' version. There was nothing wrong with the Item menus the way they were.

yeah, it would be nice if they'd roll back this FUBAR until it's worth using, already one workday shot to hell....
definitely would like to see the new unified UI come back IF and WHEN it's ready though.

I agree that the new system needs more work to be even on par with the last system. It's slower and you spend a lot more time for cargo to load despite the fact that it may or may not load hangars with thousands of items in them .5 seconds faster.

I agree with the vast majority of people in this thread. The new inventory system is terrible. I can't believe this made it through development, then testing, and was put out live as it is. What were you thinking CCP? Ugh! Please roll it back or give us the option to opt out of the new system in favor of the 'classic' system.

Old system when I docked, next to my chat chans lower left I had ships and items (ontop of eachother)
Cargohold was always open (be it small) next to my local
Cans had their own location to open
When hauling stuff IN cans it was very easy to sort over from say items and drag into the can or cans (buying stuff for more than one person)
Corp hanger was docked next to ships/items... easy to drag stuff into that and SEE everything i had in each...

This new system sucks sorry... I do not see what was wrong with the old system... now I need something as large as the fitting window to get anything done and it sucks.

Since I'm not playing EVE atm because of it, sure, +1 for rollback.

The unified inventory sure does suck. I ran a few missions today, and wow, I'm generally dissatisfied at how completely this unified inventory has changed gameplay. Looting, salvaging, jetcanning - all tedious now - all the extra shifts and clicks...on and on and on.... Who thought this was great idea? Fire that guy. What more can I say except that I hate it? I'm not unsbubbing and I'm not whining but I probably am going to do something else for a week or two until this gets sorted out. I'm guessing that the unified inventory idea was conceptualized because it must benefit server load. Usually, in RL anyway, when government institutes legislation that benefits only the government - instead of the people it serves - negative feedback is assured. The saddest part of this hooplah is that I really was looking forward to the Inferno expansion and it's turned out to be something of a letdown.

And to all the "get used to it" people, I wouldn't be so adamant that reverting back is out of the question. If EVE loses enough subscriptions over any change, that change won't stand forever. Nothing is absolute. This a player-driven game and it runs on subscriptions. We all love this game and I spend a lot time thinking up ideas that could improve gameplay...but this unified inventory is a stinker. Here's to hoping it goes away before too many people find something else to do with their time.... Yonis Kador
