You mean the complaining majority, cause I'm not seeing much support here to be honest. You can keep your one window if you like it, fine. It should have been an option though not just foisted on ppl.


Oh and apart from the UI and the datacores I like the patch, been waiting for missile launchers for so loooooong. Just shame it had to be overshadowed by UI.

Actually a head count on the message boards was done and it is like less than 30 people all posting in or creating new threads about the topic. So you are a vocal minority.



Your talking rubbish, there's more than that in the one thread for ppl asking for the old buttons back. Try harder or proof please.

more like a million trial accounts just said screw this mess and uninstalled, i had a buddy on a trial he was 7 days he just texted my cel saying "i cant even figure out how to find my ship, im over it"

Looks like one bot is up and running. But bots tend to be back up and running within 48 hours of a expansion release/patch no matter what unless the guy writing the code is either not very good or got out of the business. But one bot may have just died.

Currently, the same sorting view option is forced on ship and item hangars, and this is not acceptable. I want my ship hangar in icons, and my item hangars as list view. Thank you.

It is amazing how the botters in the three systems my other toon mines in frequently are suddenly nowhere in sight since the release of this new inventory system. I have all three systems to myself. Loving it!

Bots are bad with variable / dynamic stuff but can do the same lame, dumb thing again and again like a pro (mining anyone?).

The new UI is as static and requires as many repetitive actions as a bot would ever dream of.

BTW if you do not think this hasn't had a huge impact on botting ops...go check out the server status. Since the release of Inferno, server numbers have literally been cut in half. A new patch generally sees a uptick the first 24hrs of people playing. That has not been the case with Inferno.

Sure but the new system requires a player to constantly open and close windows and windows close by themselves now and do not stay open. Plus with the way POS's are handled in the new inventory system...lol... yeah...the botters that use to mine zip to their POS, then back to the belt, wash, rinse, repeat... gone! :)

It would be a great way to spot a lot of bots though. Just keep an eye out on all the 23/7 online players that suddenly are absent until the botting programs have been adapted to the new UI.

I like to have my cargo in icons (but actual inventory in lists), but that part isn't such a big deal. For my corp, living out of POSes, what IS a big deal is load times! Loading one SMA doesn't happen anymore, it loads EVERYTHING in the whole POS! It's a whole lot more data to transfer, and slower to even START accessing. I wonder if it's worth asking Two-step to look into, since he's familiar with life in w-space...

Silly question, but don't bots interact with the server purely using python injection? I wasn't aware that they used the GUI at all, and was under the impression that only macros tried to navigate the user interface.

I like the new inventory system because I played wit hit for a bit, set up my windows a bit differently now I can move through my ships and move stuff around.

I can quicky open multiple different windows if I need to access many containers

I can move stuff between containers, in and out fast

I can access multiple corp bays at the same time

I can filter and find junk I need in a flash

And other assorted bits I like about it, HTFU or GTFO is the usual reply. It is more efficient, and is awesome for those dealing with logistics if you are paying attention to it and fiddle with it some more. Too many old fuddies who cannot adjust to something that I find is alot better. I only miss the items and ships in station window functioning proper.
