Wardec system still needs to be finished

It would be nice to see in the corp window where the wars are displayed a shading to show the wars are active.. To make it more clearer than just having 'finished' or 'can fight at xxx' .

For example, the wars should have at least a coloured background, the current grey background for not been able to fight, green background for able to fight. It just seems to be unclear even to a vet.

And for a side note :
get round to sorting corp droppers, you charge more for wars yet have them all drop corp within a couple of days, makes me a sad panda Cry

well they said they are logging who drops from corps during wartime but have yet to impliment anything, i would personally like a fee , even if this was a small token fee. Or a bigger fee and new characters under 3 months old get immunity from the cost - which will cut down on new players getting stuck in a war they cant get out of, which also give more incentive to fight.

I think ccp did discuss this at one point

Meh, people would just pay the fee. It would have to be pretty damn hefty to convince people to not drop.

granted people would, it also might have to be a cost based on age, but another factor you could throw into the mix is that you can do it so many times a year or the prices doubles everytime you do it + not been able to rejoin the corp whilst that war is active.

Yeah the problem though is finding a price. Too high and you'd penalize newbies, too low and vets would just laugh. And I don't think you can really tie it to SP or age.

How rich you are in Eve really has very little to do with SP, past the first 10m or so. I know a lot of older players who are pretty casual, and as such completely space poor. Similarly I know a few dedicated younger players with billions.

Personally I think there is no goldilocks zone for this kind of pricing in Eve, and the variables allowing you to accurately calculate a "reasonable" price for a player are too complicated to use one a large scale.

regardless it is still deviating from the original point of not clearly displaying the 'can fight' bar as simply as it used to , which i assumed was a useful feature

this basically. Close to 3 yrs, 50 mil sp on the main, but cba to play this game "hardcore". My wallet versus a motivated 1 yr player who does all the side stuff like pi and such....****, I'd rather have thier wallet most likely. I don't make my plex money...$15 on the CC not end of the world for me.

And a cost of separation adds a burden on legit copr drops. CEO/directors went full tard for the hundreth time to make you say f this and leave. Case of 0.0 you already have your pita of moving your crap before you drop corp (which if not a carrier pilot already has high moving expenses with al them JF courier contracts you have to set up) , now you'd have to pay a fee for an added wtf factor.

CCP has to balance corp hopping "exploits" with the simple fact they know they have players who jsut want to leave for legit and viable reasons. Be a bit jacked up when your corp went full bore stupid, and now you have to pay say 50 mil to leave the circle jerk its become.

i will agree its a complicated task finding the middle ground and its not going to be an easy task for ccp to fix, but something needs to be implimented to at least make it a little more difficult to exploit, all i want for xmas is an extra bit in my war section to say i can shoot people and folders back in my address book

They already stated (a few weeks back) that there would be continued iterations on the War-dec system after Inferno so I expect the next few large patches to contain tweaks to the system.

I'm sure they'll be happy to GTFO of high sec, the moment you do.
