Good question......we are currently at war and have found that may of our members who are new to Eve unfortunately wait until they have lost their favourite mission running ship, barge or freighter before realising that perhaps they would do well to drop corp for a while if they don't want to fight.

After many months of trying to educate we decided that a hike in the tax rate would help persuade non combat members to re evaluate the situation BEFORE getting burned.

Those who remain and run missions risk getting hit and extending the war for everyone.....in return they forfeit their rewards and the corp gets much needed income but of course they still keep the loot.

When war ends the tax rate resets to zero.

I'm interesting in joining, though as a new player I'm leery of signing up in the middle of a war. Right now I'm just getting familiar with the Agent system, though I've got the basics of the game down. I guess I'm a fast learner because I've figured a lot of things out in the past few days while I've seen a lot of people very frustrated and leaving the game.

I suppose I'll wait for now. I would like to sign up once the war is over though.

By the way, do you have a website?

Sorry, no website. I "think" that the war is over, I have to admit to not logging in for a couple of days but hey, that's the nature of the corp LOL....RL first and there was stuff I wanted to watch on telly Big smile
