Used to have 22nd as the draw date. Must be nice to be able to change these things regardless of how they affect others?


Some people will have to go to work on the 24th and it would have been more convienient for them if they knew ahead of time if they should plan to take that day off.


CCP knew when their expansion was, and so should have scheduled the draw for the 23rd to begin with, not changing it after the fact when people already would have had plans of what to do if they do or don't make it in the random draw.

They then said they'd post a vid of the draw on the 23rd, which very strongly implies we'll get the results then.
In the circumstances it's probably reasonable to ask if this video will show the actual draw results or just the process with a further date for the reveal at the end.

K well, imma stop replying to you now rather than get sucked into a debate with a troll. I will simply point out that if you read back you'll find I'm not guilty of the charge you seem to be so ferverently trying to get to stick to me and that possibly the best way to assess who is het up is to look at who's been consistently posting in this thread challenging people for the last few hours. ... Because the release date detemines how much lead time you have to say you are not coming in to work so you can join the auction.


It isn't only about wanting to get in or not, but this affects how people have to deal with their jobs or not. Most alliances would have had contingency plans if they didn't get selected on the 22nd, that would have included tellinng their bosses on the 23rd that they won't be coming in onn the 24th.


If the drawing is released on the 23rd, and they don't find out until they get home on the evening of the 23rd, it looks worse to call in on the 24th and say hey guys I'm not coming in today, "why are you sick?", no because I ah... have to bid on an alliance tournament for an internet space ship game.


That's my complaint. The days were lined up very sequencially, and so people planned on them being sequential. Moving the first day affects all the others. But again, CCP should have realized they'd be busy release day, heck and the couple days after, so should have selected the draw days so they don't clash with a known and controlled extra busy period...
