How's life in The Scope these days?

What does me working for The Scope have to do with your corp heading for the hills when things are going badly Blake? Maybe I should speak to you in your own language; non sequitur.

I purposely chose not to join a capsuleer-run organization because of bad prior experiences. I don't wish to be at the mercy of megalomaniacal, tinhorn dictators such as yourself.

The fact that you lashed out in a personal attack tells me all I need to know about you and PIE.

You sound angry.

What does your position in a corp that can't be at war have to do with our war-time conduct?

It has everything to do with it. You can comment on how we enter or leave conflicts when you put yourself in a position of danger. Until then, you're just another impotent heckler.

And perhaps if you don't want to be the subject of a personal attack you should refrain from making them.

Captain Amarr, you should know as well as anyone that the size of one's vessel does matter in particular cases. Shame on you for listening to this Gallente.

I fail to see what you find so funny, Ms Starfire, and it's Admiral Newelle to you.

Small ones are generally faster too, although that's not always a good thing.

Well, this escalated quickly. In before Muck Raker's next article is titled 'PIE CEO compares ***** size with a minmatar'.

A large vessel employed by someone who doesn't know what they're doing might be able to brute-force their way through, but a smaller vessel used by a more experienced party will typically outperform its larger opponent.

Size is less important than skill and experience. Sometimes it can make up the difference, but in a majority of one-on-one circumstances, it will not. The principle does scale to larger groups, of course, but then there are more variables at play.

Good to hear from the expert(s) in this regard. I imagine centuries of theory and speculation have been rectified.

Aye, I believe Raphael Saint coined the phrase 'bounce tank' regarding a newer pilot who had the habit of bouncing off stationary objects in their frigates because they were not in control of their vessel.

Good to see little has changed here in my absence. I feel though Rodj and I have a lot of catching up to do with the old mudslinging

Allow me to say, based on personal experiences, Amarr usually dont "measure up".

And aww... I was hoping we could be friends... wait, arent Admirals supposed to actually be like, on active duty?

I've discovered some capsuleer will take you literally if you don't spell out the euphemisms. If you got it, well done Smile

I imagine this PIE 'redeployment' more akin to a wandering caravan of lost Thukkers than a masterful strategic shuffle.

Toiling through the wasteland in search of a cause, bereft of hope or salvation, slaves to a false ideology and Empress.

*Sigh*

It's the same on both sides. A redeployment is not an act of cowardice, but I can see how the propaganda machine can twist it that way.

None so mighty as a well chosen words, none so intimidating than seeing an Apocalypse fleet piloted by PIE forces. For all our differences, one thing I won't accuse PIE of is cowardice. When they stand, they stand firm. Toppled them many times before but they gave as well as they got, my insurance company very nearly disowned me

It's a shame they didn't put you out of business permanently. About the only thing I could thank PIE for at this point if they could pull that off
