some cool fits there Ager Agemo

i think that to avoid too much mix of fitting in one space, who will make immersion crap as it will look like halloween meet sanatorium when incarna will allow ppl to gather.
CCP should create categories of clothes where some will be allowed and some others not

like

-drydock : with "men at work" clothing, like dirty stuff like Aqriue said, entually military stuff too
-social : "day to day clothing" normal everyday / classical clothing
-party : everything and more ^^
-reception : expensives / classy / evening dress
-etc etc

Caldari Drydock Worker Uniform characteristics:

a) repels dirt via ionized fabric material. You want your workers always looking clean and professional. It also gives the impression that the work isn't dirty which is good for morale (and makes it more likely people will want the job, which means you can pay lower wages.)

b) is cheap. Caldari. Cheap. Redundant.

c) automatically absorbs bodily waste products so that workers don't experience reduced productively by having to take bathroom breaks.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

I would imagine that all the clothes atm follow a particular "look" because there are only a few of them and they have to be worn together and look right. I hope that when this range is finished, they take a totally different direction, I expect they will. Maybe in 2 years, there will be all sorts of styles.

Wait your saying that it is a good thing that in a "spaceship" game where people fly in "space" and build many things in "space" stations., that it is good that they will "never" undock? ..........

Please note here people that he said "never" and not "rarely" which i can understand as to inventors/ researchers and manufacturing but even they need to undock on occasion to refuel a pos / transport materials etc.

What your suggesting trainwreck would create more stagnation and subversion. We want players interacting with players in an enviroment, not players interacting with a computer. You can do that with any game.

What makes eve special is that for the most part, it is entirely player-based.

This phylosophy will kill eve.

Never is probably too strong of a word. But, there are people that rarely undock and just participate in commerce without leaving a station. Their main social interaction with the rest of EVE is probably through these forums but adding social areas within a station can improve their sandbox. The majority of us are truly pilots and space is where we make or break our careers and wallets but our sandbox is pretty well defined already. Yes, it has areas crying out for improvement but many of those are started or planned for the near future.

My main activities are exploration and manufacturing with some PvP on another character. I have a strong interest in FiS but I do want to see station and eventually ground based activities expanded. What I would like to see are exploration sites that use the Incarna model where we undock to do our archaeology and hacking and hope our ship is protected by our fleet mates and isn't destroyed before we leave a site. There is no reason we can't combine avatar and ship based interaction throughout many areas of the game.

Think corporate, think efficient. Workwear that uses the wearer's waste to clean and repair itself. Available in a wide range of colors, hope you like brown.

Goggles. Making me look good. Making you look good.

EVE IS dying

All that is left are people who want to dress up in designer clothes.

I have never played WoW but there is no way its as bad as this.

EVE is changing. It is expanding the sandbox. EVE is more than my fleet destroyed your fleet and took your expensive moon. For some EVE is just a video game with nice explosions, for others it's about role playing and immersion or crunching numbers and working the market. Incarna is about allowing a person to show their personality with more than their choice of ship and hopefully it will allow more opportunities for styles of play. There may even become new professions where people never undock, and that's not a bad thing, it's just different.

The more opportunities for more styles of play then the healthier your EVE universe will be and the longer you will get to enjoy exploding spaceships.

This.

Now if only this could be quoted every single time someone states that "EVE is about spaceships."

Oh, and I like my clothes. Blink
