Yes I'm serious. We are going to be able to walk in the station to meet other peeps. More customization / accessories / PETS would be necessary. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only anime fan playing EVE. And that would be boring if everyone looks the same (currently we got same height, we can't look unique like they can in other games, like Aion for an example, they can be very much different to each other, they can be huge or they can be tiny).

EVE is not an anime game though. Why should it add second, completely incompadible art style that is practically the anti-thesis to the game's tone and setting? -.-

CCP really please dont use Upgraded, Limited, Experimental and Prototype in item names. It sounds like the item is actually worse than basic meta 1 item. Use Calibrated, Enhanced, Optimized and Upgraded. Its really easy to understand that the item is better than meta 1 and its also in alphabetic order.

Just for the OP if notsureifserious.jpg . Was looking at the different races, saw that one, and started laughing - 99% sure in that game this race will out number the other ones in the Asian markets Shocked, OP is just that 1% that hasn't gotten it yet Roll

Also, what is it with the big ass weapons? I get the less is more since its so staple for armor in fantasy when it comes to females, but why do asians have such a hardon for 2-3 meter length weapons? Cloud I could get, but its been like 15+ years already so surely the trend would of changed by now Straight

EVE is not like other MMOs. Don't try to make it like those other MMOs.

Though I do agree that some more customization-options would be... interesting, simply put... If we're ever going to walk around and see eachother in the stations, I would hate to see dozens of other characters with identical bodies and marginally different faces. We can customize everything else, so why not let us customize our bodies too? Let us change height, weight, skin-tone, muscle/fat-ratio and other such small pointless details that in no way affect any kind of game-mechanics (within reasonable limits, of course). But we don't need anime-style characters. There's no reason to ruin the game for everyone, just because you want to look like something (not someone) taken out of WoW.

but we are talking about the distant future, so for the sake of eccenticies, woudlnt most infinitely wealthy capsuleers genetically modify themselves to waht they think is awesome? (FFXIV style catgirls) or minmatar guys giving themsleves wolf attributes to scare the crap out fo epople in hallways and emphasize the "wolfpack" attitude of rifter pilots?

honestly though i just want my charcter catified so i can have her curl up on couch in cq so i have something adorable to look at instead of "super serious meeting/board-room sitting".

I believe at Fanfest 2009 they said they wanted to add Height as an option, but they had issues concerning how these characters would interact with the world or something.

Honestly this shouldn't be an issue with template animations, sockets and feeding it through an IK system that is built-in to PhysX (which they already use for APEX Clothing)

Seems more of an unwillingness to make it work. While I don't agree in scary animé girls running around... honeslty keep in mind how many are from somethingawful and 4chan (not looking at any Goons in particular) - I do agree having the ability to set our Height between some prefix would make a nice addition.

Say between 5'5 - 6'5" so you could only have like a foot of difference (12 settings) this would allow for some minor variation and for example crowds walking around it would actually provide more natural background NPCs (if they ever do work on Incarna again)

Everyone being the same height is honestly very creepy when you have the time to stop and think about it, which is why in FPS games it makes little difference and you never really stop to smell the roses as it were ... but in Mass Effect in the ***** bars it's creepy as hell.

Yeah! That would be AWESOME! But only if said anime characters were KOS to everyone else in stations and there was a special animation for cutting off their pet's head, sticking it on a sharpened stick and handing it back to their now lifeless corpse.

above all else look at all the choices they have, even if you dont like them, they could make other types of characters. and some chose to do that.

Since they cant, in this game, Im assuming thats why there are so many .. top heavy... models walking around.

And i wouldnt mind if it was restricted to Gallente, at least that would make lore sense.

Its not possible to please all the people all the time, but it sure as hell is possible to Displease all the people, most of the time.

so do you wanna be a successful rich space pilot? or do you wanna be a hooker? there are people trying to get a lego model rifter approved and i dont think adding a couple lines to the rating reasons will help that...

i didnt say we should have giant breasts, i didnt suggest we should have 12 eyar olds for characters, adni didnt suggest we get clothes that show off everything.

I think the ability for us to more freely control our avatar's body-type would be welcomed.

Perhaps have the option to choose one from a group of presets in addition to the current randomize function.

They're looking at more options to be added. More clothing and accessories, more tattoos (including "sleeve" tattoos), possibly more degrees of freedom regarding body shape.
