Just who is Aghaver Xarasier and why is the disappearance of previously obscure scientist of such concern to Scope? Could this be the same Chief Scientist father of a well known mission agent involved in recruiting capsuleers to investigate rouge drones.

How is this connected with rumours of a new drug that is perhaps not so new and may in fact be ancient; that burns the mind into permanent euphoria or perdition or both. Or reports of increasingly war fatigue, desertion and disappearances amongst previously steadfast and loyal units of all empires.

Dr. Aghaver (Avagher in his native Gallente) Xarasier is ... or perhaps was ... the Chief Researcher for Duvolle Laboratories.

As best I understand things, his relation to Dr. Delphine Xarasier has never been a matter of open gossip. He is, or again, was, married to Jinneth Duvolle, sister of Duvolle's current CEO. I believe the current Chief Researcher for CreoDron is Dr. Gasschies Ordt. While I do not wish to imply anything untoward, I suppose one may be able to draw some conclusions from those tidbits of public information.

Not long ago an old wormhole physics colleague of mine now working for Duvolle Labs mentioned a rumor that Dr. Xarasier was, in fact, killed while testing an experimental propulsion drive. Although, the Scope's term of "disappeared" may still be appropriate: apparently the endpoint of a wormhole he was traversing deposited his ship somewhere... untenable.
