because then they couldn't sell "the power of two" (the program where you pay a little more and can train 2 characters)

Not positive, just remember someone saying that it used to be able to be done.. but alas I've only been playing since last Nov.. so can't speak to it.

As for why have more than one ? Well I know lots of people use them for PI.. Spy's.. Cyno for their corp..

Currently I have a few accounts, all training.. when I'm happy with the level my toon is at, I'll transfer it to another account.. don't run them all at once anyway.. but I'll have 2-3 different toons to chose from depending on what I'm doing.. Like PvP, PvE, Mining, Freightor, etc..
