So much win. :')

(Although I have to admit I've been watching the D3 server status page in the in-game browser while mining space rocks.)

That makes perfect sense. EVE requires a much higher level of intellegence to play and understand. Only the few can respond to it. These "other" games, any uneducated dolt can play...

Much higher level of intellegence.

I've had no installation problems, no gameplay problems, no lag, no stuttering, no disconnects, no errors, at all.

boot.ini

Quote:
Shortly after releasing EVE Online: Trinity at 22:04 GMT on Wednesday, 5 December, we started receiving reports that the Classic to Premium graphics content upgrade was causing problems to players by deleting the file C:\boot.ini, which is a Windows system startup file. In some cases the computer was not able to recover on the next startup and would not start until the file had been fixed. In this dev blog I want to tell you how this happened.

aka CCPs content launch caused players computers to be bricked

People are getting far too feisty over a single, harmless (Quite amusing) jibe from CCP. If a little comment like that can get a game's playerbase all riled up and flaring, it says more about the playerbase than the quality of the game.

When I'm good I'm very good, but when I'm bad, I'm better.

Greetings capsuleer Smash,

You appear to be hurt. Do not move. I will see what I can do.

Is there a doctor around that can recommend an ointment for the poor fellow?

A doctor, damnit! I know we have lawyers and psychologists and all sorts here. A doctor! Somebody that can prescribe something for Smash's pain! Perhaps a suppository for more localised pain relief?

Quickly now!

Those are the errors you get in Diablo 3 when you try to log in and something doesn't work.

Now that is hilarious.

The question is, however, why are the dev's playing Diablo.....the traitors!

That splash screen was seriously funny.

And if EVE takes a short dirt nap when the expansion launches next week, and Blizzard pokes back, that'll be funny as heck, too.

Just see and enjoy the humor in this stuff, people - these are games, not religions.

Burn the heretic!

I wrote some true EVE stories! And no, they're not of the generic "my 0.0 alliance had lots of 0.0 fleets and took a lot of 0.0 space" sort. Check them out here:

funny thing ccp did.

A good quote from the diablo forums
"I love that EVE is able to cause tears even in entirely unrelated gaming communities"

have to admit I loled upon seeing that.

Sorry but file “forumsig.GIF” is currently unavailable please come back later…… like in a year or so.

I'd like to see the games companies poke a bit of lighthearted fun at each other, kinda funny seeing some of the fanbois getting all steamed up over a harmless jibe though Lol
