No, this is the thread where we don't care how terrible you are at Eve. As long as you make less ISK for being terrible.

In other words: if you can't figure out how to get into low sec, that's your problem. But you should be space poor as hell for it.

Oh, yes. Low sec is definitely the province of the internet space 1%ers.

How could I forget?

Hear that kids? Head on out to low sec and you, too, can shoot 250K bounty belt rats.Roll

You'll be loaded in no time.

I don't know what's more depressing, the idea that some people still belt rat or the fact that you are terrible enough at this game to think that belt ratting is a profitable past time.

I seem to recall belt ratting was quite profitable last I was out there. Especially if you crash a low security system a bot is working in, he's already groomed all the belts for ya.

So close...

It isn't really any more, chaining belts in a -1.0 system for officer spawns might be considered relatively profitable, but mostly the only "decent" ways to make money in low/null sec are mission running, mining and exploration. Personally I raid wormholes too, but that probably doesn't count as low/null sec activity.

Not counting moon mining and renting systems, of course. But they are more alliance level income sources. Belt ratting will generally earn you less than high sec incursion farming would, even post incursion nerf.

I see. I never tried incursions, I didn't really even like anomalies to be honest, but that was more of a problem with the quality of systems we occupied and the equipment installed at the ihub. It was more fun to go to our enemies best systems and farm their belts and make their bots run scared, it was a two-fer! P

Heh, yeah, anomalies aren't too bad with all the sov upgrades. Personally I could never bring myself to run them for more than an hour or two at a time though. They are just so damn dull Lol

Ah you keep failing in your lame gate camps. Why not actually get a life and do something interesting in this game. Eve is massive there is so much to do yet you choose to kill hauliers all day.

What about buff sentry gates dmg/rof and put more of them? -this would solve the problem of disco BS remoted by logis at gates killing everything passing through.

Ooops, guess I've just learned you something...

I think the really depressing part is that some people are terrible enough at this game that they think low sec is a particularly profitable place to be. Lol

I suppose you want CCP to make all industrials unable to fit shield extenders, hardeners, STABs or any other kind of useful defensive modules to prevent industrialists like me from slipping through with just a few scratches on the paint?

In the cat-and-mouse game that is low sec, there is no shame in learning to be a better mouse.

If the game is too hard for you, just join the rest of the bottom feeding parasites and go shoot hulks in belts; can't tank, can't run, can't shoot back.

I'm sure you'll find things much more to your liking.

Or if you find the game really difficult, then never leave high sec and just pick on some poor asteroids.

If only they had a module that could slow down ships. And if only there were ships that had bonuses to those modules. Then you could put one of those ships at 0 on the gate and make it harder for them to run back to the gate so fast!

Most definitely, I concur.

Translation:
I think it is unfair that I don't get easy kills where I can blow up little ships without having to try very hard.
Let's implement a change so that it is easier for me to not be so terrible at this game.

Also, let's get rid of cloaking.
And warp core stabs.
And propulsion mods.
And add 7 minute timers to gates.
Because eve is hard, and even though i'm incredibly skilled in the art-form of PvP that is "gatecamping", I don't enjoy failing so hard.

-1/10. Too obvious. Next time, make a fairly feasible suggestion that would screw over the criminal element of the game instead of helping it. You'll get more bites.
