Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: was a bit laggy, during the gate fight it was running quite smoothly for such a large battle to start with, but after a while i lost control of my ship, causing me to burn away from the fight.

  • Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: Had trouble locking the POS to shoot it as it was invisible the whole time, couldn't find several of the targets the FC said to target on my overview, but other than that things seemed to go as expected. Probably should have turned graphics down more, but eh, was at least able to continue shooting things.

Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: Was able to keep missile effects enable during this test and although experience occaisional instances of lag (did not see the TiDi indicator) was able to lock targets launch missiles and control drones. There did appear to be a period where I could not see the targets being called in my overview. This coincided with noticing that the Startgate was not visible, but it now transpires it may have been destroyed. Not sure if the called targets were being popped quickly or this was a defect

ONE MAJOR BUG / ISSUE: Every time i stay with a huge amount of ships on the same grid the GPU gets less usage and thus lowering the fps. Here you can see the GPU stats right after warp-off from the POS, fps on both clients rose from 15 to about 80.
Strange to see that with huge amount of ships to render the usage drops to 20-30% and with almost nothing to render in warp it goes up to 100%Ugh

On log in: My engines were purple. Bug reported.

After first gate jump: No objects in the overview or in space. Space showed the background, but nothing else. I could turn on modules, and a fleet warp message did show then it was issued. I re-logged and found I had in fact fleet warped. Bug reported, and it came back "Previously unknown" which is odd as its the second time Ive bug reported it. Also, Ive heard others say this bug is on TQ.

POS bash: A couple of times my missiles were animated as zig-zagging back and forth before flying off to the POS.

PvP: My ship stopped responding to controls. I could look around. I issued a warp command to a planet, but the ship just sat there. I re-logged and found I was in fact at the planet. I returned to the battle (hard to find with the gate gone) fought for a bit, then well after the cease fire someone blew me up. Decided to call it a day.

  • Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: Before testing began I noticed adaptive vsync doesn't really work with eve (30, 140, 30 ,140, 30, 140 fps hopping) so I disabled it. Fps during POS shootout was dramatically increased (zoomed in 15, zoomed out 7). Right prior to logserver crash client became unresponsive for ten seconds or so, once logserver was terminated client functioned as normal. EVEmail me for logs (28MB zipped).

Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: Aside the lags and low FPS, which was pretty much ok regarding the amount of ships in space, I noticed that the POS model was not displayed at all and it lokked like most of the missile models weren't too. The gatecamp at Poitot was pretty awesome until the bombs started, I could lock one guy but then it was just around 2 FPS max. Nothing less than expected regarding the general Mac performance of EvE. Overall great experience for a mass test, but I wouldn't engage if would happen on TQ

Describe your experience, make comments, suggestions, etc.: From the previous test experience doing similar activities I have noticed a marked difference in handling of the activities by the server. There was no disco's and my fps was decent with having full effects and max gfx settings on such a low end gfx card.

I think it would be better if CCP took charge of both of the fleet's as user participation / actual testing would be higher as hey who wouldn't want to have a CCP Dev as a FC Cool
