Have a look at the sensor strength on an archon, then tell me you can perma-jam one with two kitsunes....

Pft everyone knows that a single EC-300 has a 100% chance of perma-jamming any ship.

CCP Accidentally the Tracking Dread. Much Cheaper than the Tracking Titan.

Ya but silly RvB you CAN use Ewar on dreads like TD's. Well they could seige i guess but then......

I wanted to paint my space ship red, but I couldn't find enough goats.

Congratulations you just shut down an archon for 1/100th the cost at the expense of using 2 more men.

12.76 Jam Strength on a Kitsune.(with heat)
72 points of sensor on an Archon.

1 Jammer chance to jam = 17.7%
2 Jammer chance to jam = 32.3%

I wouldnt bet on a 32% chance of an event occuring.

Should the Archon pilot refit ONE ECCM, your chance with 2 Jammers goes to down to 17.3%

You skipped right past the meat of that tangent, didn't you. Good job on the whole "reading comprehension" thing.

Who in their right mind brings tracking disruption to a large fleet fight? Maybe that'll change if tracking dreads become popular, but you're either gimping your primary fleet fit, or you're wasting manpower on something that'll probably help less than more DPS for burning the dread down.

Tracking Dreads lol. Unlike a titan, dreads can't hit **** without subcapital support.

I'd be more worried about the support fleet than the dread.

... Tracking penalty to sieges has been removed....

.... Dreads track the same as titans....

... Dreads don't have sig radius penalty for XL guns like titans...

... Do you read patch notes?...

But to the OP... In which scenario are you able to ignore the 100 odd drones the carrier will have in his drone bay in addition to his triage and remote reppers...

In which scenario is a support fleet going to allow an EAF cause the loss of a carrier, especially since a single flight of warrior 2's will turn your kitsunes into space garbage quickly?

And the R&K video shows the fail of the super fleet, if they swap their target as soon as the carriers swap triage the archons will die.

Isn't it that RvB does not allow ECM and as a result you post this theory craft?

No it is not going to work.

Almost everyone in RvB is an alt fool, you log on for action between null sec fleet battles. They are more fun then low sec and null sec roams.

You don't need to perma jam the archon either, because the Keres makes his "retargeting" take an eternity, by the time he retargets he'll get jammed again. Also the archon has base 72 Radar points. Two Kitsunes loaded with Radar jammers (white noise) + a keres can really make his life hell.

If he goes triage mode then the situation changes.

EDIT:
Also I never said this is a perfect solution, but for under 75 million you can really screw any ship with this little squadron, including non-triaged carriers.

yeah till the archon's fleets interceptors, frigs kill your keres and kitsune's

Correct me if i'm wrong, but isnt a carrier in triage immune to EWAR?
