I think my main issue and point was that the MD is starting to look like some horrible ads TV station..

No real content, some meh posts and a lot of public offerings.

The rules are that questions should be asked in a several pages thread, but flood noisy offerings, that is mediocre and borring for the most part, they are ok as new threads..

My suggestion was directly focused on getting the trade into the trade forums and the discussion in the discussion forum..

MD was originally formed for exactly a similar reason..

In the above comment it was mentioned that MD is not enough for "forum game experience", or something along that line.. Well I would just say that its the only place that is slightly tolerable regarding endless trolling and 12 year old language..

A few exceptions maybe, but the loose moderation style of ccp is really beginning to preselect the actual users to just aggrevate the type of population..

As you may have noticed less and less of the voices that used to make MD and the general boards readable have silenced a bit lately.

Am I just being nostalgic?! Well maybe, I was merely asking for some debate about this, before I decide to go the same way as those other old voices, and leave the eve-o horror to its own devicings.

As i said multiple times in other threads with the same topic , take the loan requests out of MD and what you get is that the startpage will be the same for a week in a row.I made a post yesterday on the MD and 3 hours later when i come home it is still number one on the MD forum.In other words there is verry VERRY little things being discussed on MD.


So tell me in what way is it a problem to have the loan threads here?You can see it is a loan thread from the topic name so it's not like you need to go through the threads to find out wich is what.The rate threads are being pushed to the 2nd page are verry slow , at times takes even a few days before even a semi active thread is pushed to page 2 so not like you have to go through 15 pages before you find something that was posted one of the last days.


If you insist on seperating it then i would place the loans in WTS thread and then move the MD discussions to science forum because having a pure market discussion sub forum would be a waste of space given how little it would be used.

Much of the drama in MD revolves around offerings. Some of the most entertaining threads were from Yih (?) when he got MD to refine his scam (of dismantling goons) and got some of the alleged MD 'elite' to back his offering.

Market manipulation, offerings and scams depend on MD regulars (with the money).

I'm with flakeys on this: taking away offerings (which could well go to Sell Orders) will take much away from MD. With low posting in the forum, best to leave things be for the time being.

The yih legend is bigger then the deal itself just to show indeed the drama mostly comes from such threads.Yih only had 2 investors for a total sum of about 2 to 3 B MAX .It was only from one MD elite , namely cosmoray and some random dude ... that would be me Blink
