I buy Expanded Cargoholds in jita and distribute them out into the forge region. 4000isk investment... i sell for 250000 isk a pop. I sell slowly becouse i dont really care. i have a decent income daily. Plus i am almost never liquid i keep dumping my money back into the market holding onto Assets instead. Today i sold 1000 Cargoholds sor 250k.... pay day

I guess what i am saying is. While Station trade is a great thing. Distribution outward for a higher price is Where its ay. Come to jita for cheep stuff. Stay in a local system and pay a lil more.. However if you station trading or have that mentality. You price something not in jita for jita prices or undercutting jita prices. you fail at trading.. Dont fail at trading. Over pricing is good for you, when you are the only person selling. which in jita is not the case.

That kind of business model works best for me as well. Requires a few hours of hauling your stuff around and seeding the markets in your region of choice, but after that you have almost no work from your orders for a week or two. Did that with Rens <-> Molden Heath for a while, dealing in all things salvage-related: Slavagers, Tractors, Nocti, Salvage Tackles... was good fun and not too much work.

Babysitting orders in a station will reap more ISK/hour, but considerably less ISK/effort.
