As a Rattlesnake pilot with no intent on training for capital ships, I would absolutely love this class of ship. Maybe it could be taken one step further and like T3 battlecruisers, modified in a modular way, like choosing between a bigger drone bay or a small CHA; a remote repping power grid system or a bonus to shield regen etc etc

Oddly enough, I think this might be interesting.

Make the Orca the base model for a T3 platform.
Let the configuration that gives you the current Orca not require additional training compared to current.

Let people do things that makes them into combat support, black ops support, POS support, etc.

I would advise against jump drives, but the black ops support should be capable of having a blops bridge for it, treating it like the covert configuration T3 Strat cruiser equivalent.

CCP plz think about this idea

I support:
+1 escort carrier
+1 assault carrier
+1 for jumpdrive and Fuel Bay
+1 one capital remote rep or shield only possible with cap chain
+1 more cargo to carry 1750m3 stuff for the gang (charges and ohter stuff)
+1 Drone Bay for 40-50 Drones
+1 assault carrier Drone Bay for 50-60 Drones and 5-10 fighters


Give these Carrieer a little ship maintinece bay with maximum 500.000 m3, to transport 1 bs and 1 frigates

On the assault carrier with level 5 the pilot can use maximum 5 fighters

Don't give them high sec access

I think this smaller carrier will help to bring carebear corps to low sec.

so, why du you propose exactly the opposite of that?
capital reps, jumpdrives and so on?

i like the original idea of the OP, but i don't see a reason for a new (just downsized) carrier with the same moduls and skill requirements as the ones we already have.
