Not really planning on using it much myself, just don't want clone costs on my main to go up anymore so I've been using skillpoints to train up an alt to sell. What else should I do to maximize her value? Would it be a waste to train up pvp stuff like overheating and probes?

Erm. Shield comps, AWU, other shield skills 4->5, shield rigging 4, cloaking 4, and strongly consider running some numbers and at least getting the best bang/buck ratio navigation and missile support skills to 5. I personally wouldn't touch it without probing skills, but that's just me.
