Loyalty Points...what are they good for?

I understand, that I can exchange them for stuff...but I must say...I will never need 99,5% of this stuff. Faction Ammo..ok..but I like to buy it on stations with isk and no pseudo currency like LP. I do not need superduper set of implants for Level4 Missions or yaddayadda-blabla launchers to shoot something at someone.

I have many millions of LP for caldari and amarr and concord. I have no Idea what I should buy from them.

What is the best way to make isk of them and become rich.

What would you do with your LP-Points? It would be cool if we would be able to change them to plex...

I'm sorry, but I'm gonna tell him anyway. Loyalty points are so useless that it's recommended that the OP biomass his character to reset loyalty points to 0.

CNR, buy one and contract it to me. But srslyuse it for faction modules if you got tags, or buy and sell implants.

They cannot be helpful when you have closed off all avenues through which they can be useful. You:


  • Want to know what to do with your loyalty points so you can make ISK
  • Do not want to spend them on items for personal use
  • Do not want to spend them on items for resale


The only available option is to do nothing. Perhaps in future CCP will add an option where you can trade loyalty points for ISK without having to do anything; in which case you'll have a reasonable stock.

Not about not selling them in general.

Basic solution: Buy implants, sell implants. Eve goes through more implants than Beverly Hills. If that is too much work to figure out, just ignore them.

Well… you could always exchange them into something and sell it. Most of the stuff in there is on the regular market these days, so you can just look there and get a decent idea of what it costs. If you can't be arsed with doing the maths — they will have, and will have a nice margin. Just undercut them a bit and set it to 90 days duration, and it'll get sold eventually.

If you can live with not making stellar returns, you can always just pump it into ammo and starbase charters — they sell in bulk and you can get rid of it quickly.

Then you only have a few options left if you want to get rid of the LPs:
1) exchange for stuff and give away
2) exchange for stuff, jettison into space and blow up
3) exchange for stuff and refine and play with the minerals
4) exchange for stuff and destroy them in station

I might have missed something.

I deleted the part about the not selling. It was not clear what I wanted to say and some of me got me wrong.

Thank you all for your input. I will spend an evening and check markets for implants and faction ships.
