so idea, server already keeps track of how players move their ships, and what they fit them with.

why not ahve the sevrer record and then experiment with fits on rats to counter the players that engage it over time? so like if people for months on end grind on gurista's, eventually guristas will start fitting their ships and piloting them in an attempt to counter the more common fits they see.

figure if it is any way possible, would give some more life to the NPC's aswell as offering a challenge to players who ocupy a single area for a long time, especially sleeper and incursionists. would be interestingh to see sansha start spawning rats designed specifically to counter the cookie-cutter incurison fleets one day.

and then, they become self aware, break out into the internet and kill all of mankind.

I would rather have pirate gangs with incursion AI and fits to roam and gank players/ hotdrop lols in 0.0 npc space, and occasionally launch an all out invasion on nearby sov holder alliances with titans and super caps, to remind players who is really the boss from time to time. oh yes and extort pos owners in their space for protection fee or be sieged on a regular bases by pirate 100+ dreadnaught gangs.... speaking of sieging pos's npc pirates should do that to sov holders as well, making holding large amounts of sov far more challenging... as it should be.... npc rats should put up their own Pos's and mine moons, placing tech 2 minerals under a front corporation on the market. woah, isk sinks.

eve is hard, why should the npcs in null be such pushovers, i mean who else is going to fight the bloated nullsec alliances?

Last time CCP tryed making rats smarter they started to perma jam you, id rather see em keep it as it is atm until they find a proper mix between sleepers and normal rats.
