What is the main stress an EVE client places on your computer?

Hello

Im running 4 accounts on the same Computer at the moment and it working just fine. But i would like to add a few more.

Ive noticed that each client takes up a lot of memory? is this the main stress on the computer as if i open 5 accounts the computer slows down to a point that i cannot effectively use all accounts in conjunction.

Typically when you open 5 games at once you can expect a drop in performance....

Things are only impossible until they are not.

Ok lets pretend that i had a super computer that could run 1000 clients and lose nothing in performance


What stresses the computer the most when you fire up multipe clients

Working memory?

Processor?

Graphics card?


I only ask as people are shitposting with no content

Also < no issues having 4 eves open and world of tanks running... so 5 games....

Infact if i put a eve or 2 into the taskbar I can even PLAY world of tanks at 60fps... (GPU cant do 4 eves + wot all on screen 2 + wot yes)

OP had no content...

A supercomputer is NOT the OP's pc.

A supercomputer would have no GPU... so um..... fail....

Running a p4, the mobo is going to be the issue as well your stuck with a p4 and a low ram limit...
Running a i7, ram would be the issue if the GPU is not the issue...

blah blah blah... waste of time no info = no useful reply.

It depends on too many factors for somebody else to say.

Try running Windows Process Explorer as you add instances.

TBH all we need are the PC specs lol... be easy to say what the bottleneck is...

Fans definitively. But i run on a laptop. 2 clients runs fine though - except they freeze a lot on Macs which is totally un cool and has been going on since Crucible.

Based on the info you have provided,
I am guessing the bottleneck in your computer is the VGA cable

There should be a rather awesome pic here

Hard to say without your specs.

I can open 3 with no lag. A 4th lags me. Why? My video card is my weakest link.

Maybe yours is memory, maybe it's CPU, it depends on your build and you didn't say what you have.

i run two clients at a time and each only use about 350 mb

lol damn 350 I wish mine used that little

Eve on the char selection screen for me is already 422mb priv working set

Once I load into jita

Meh 600 lol Been well over a gig after doing stuff jumping systems etc...

Then again 16gigs of ram... I think 1 gig page file here.

And i need 5 accounts for my Leet pvp ofc.

1 for boost
1 for falcon
1 for priest
1 for netural scout and scanner

and one to actually do the killing.
