I don't think it was the intention, when conceived, that wormholes would have capital blobs.
Yes capitals make PvE, POS bashing and hitting other capitals a lot easier but ignoring that, they spoil the potential pew to be had, like Hathrul said.

The problem isn't with capitals, it is with the huge numbers of people all being in one wormhole. These problems didn't exist before we had enough people in wormholes to even warrant having large numbers of capitals. If you removed the use of capitals, it would still come down to huge fleets not wanting to jump in on each other for fear of being collapsed, divided or hugely out-numbered.

@ Hathrul: How come you guys couldn't have arranged to fight without capitals? I don't see the appeal of sitting with your giant wangs out if you don't get to slap anyone with them...

im not a big fan of fixed fights. feel so RvB'ish. and its not entirely terrible. when 2 groups connect to the same static you still get the good fights.

An agreement not to use capitals is hardly a fixed fight, but I understand how you feel.

We force collapsed for hours and hours last night, the most interesting thing I found was a devoter, abaddon and mammoth.
Floating in space.
Unpiloted, no POS.

No pew though =/

we do this most nights, c5's are mostly empty, i actually feel hate for anyone suggesting they should add more wormholes, and hate is a strong word.
