If you are the only person in a corp and you faction standings are 0 and you corp standings are 7.0 will your corp still lose standings or will 7.0 be maintained.

There's actually an important difference between having "0.00" standings with an NPC organisation and having null standings - that is, when an organisation doesn't appear in your standings list at all. Having any number, large or small, positive or negative, will be averaged into the corporation's standings with the organisation, but null standing will not be considered. However, once you have any amount of standing with an organisation, you'll never be able to go back to having null standings.

So to maintain standings will want a toon with null standings correct?

A toon with null standings, or a toon with 8.00+ standings.
