Greetings,

Can someone tell me what, “BC 5, DD5 for uncoming Inferno Patch to use all 4 races DD/BC” means? I took DD5 to mean Doomsday trained to level 5 but that wasn’t the case. Also, what is DD/BC?

DD5 means doomsday 5, whoever you were talking to is some kind of crazy person who thinks that US navy stuff carries over to eve online. (They meant destroyer, but literally no one except for that guy calls destroyer 5 dd5).

Mostly it's CCP idea to add the Destroyer (dessie) and Battlecruiser (BC) skills to the racial ones.

in short this may mean that in order to train a race BC you may need to own the previous skill (cruisers) to lvl 4 like actually happens with frigs, instead the just lvl 3.

Then some ppl began to theorice if CCP should give an equal status after such change (if you have BC 4 then you get all 4x racial skills to lvl 4 already ) thus causing troubles with the race ones you may lack lvl 4 cruiser skills, or just a Sp refund (thus screwing the ppl who already have all skills and use all race BC at maximum)

It's been said numerous times, in many different feedback and discussion threads, that the skill changes are not coming in the Inferno expansion, and will probably arrive a few months after, but not before a raft of ship balancing hits.
