In all honesty, while I see where you come from.... why not ask your friends who can be relied upon to simply que stuff up for you.
I know, I know CCP has it in their terms and agreement that 'you are not supposed to share' your account. But do they really frown upon this when it is a trusted friend that does not do anything negative to the account.

looks like you answered your own question

there are also those of us who trust noone, yet are paying for a service that must be managed daily even though our lives are not always conducive to daily game time.

working/school/kids/military are all good reasons to let people either queue their sp thru their paid sub or let them accrue SP and apply it when they can.

Sorry to hear this, but it did make me laugh. Seriously, thanks for the laughter.
In all seriousness. This is not a new issue. CCP already mentioned that they are looking into making skill ques possible via Eve gate. Till then you have to be patient and accept your own limitations.

And the fun part: some people do trust others. Obviously I am not going to delude myself and show off 'evidence' since you already proved you would never believe it otherwise.

Are you training nothing but level 1-3 skills? If your going to be away for a period of time stack up 23 1/2 hours of short skills then put a long level 5 at the end, if you come back before it's done just drop things in front of it. Keep a level 5 skill in the que at all times, then if you miss updating a short skill you don't "loose" any time. There are plenty of 30 + day skills.

Besides if they let you que up weeks of skills they would have to let you inject books for skills you have not met the prereqs for, or should they change that too?

Nah, the current system for injecting skill books is quite reasonable, because you *might* change your skill queue before you finish the prereq's and then they'd have to un-inject.

But honestly, lots of people don't make it past six months of play, and most of them will only train one or two skills higher than X3

While i do happen to log in every day or so, I think the current system is much better then the last, while thats not shining praise for either system, 24 hours seem to be fine, I tend to keep a bs 5 ready to be dropped onto the queue, (down to one) or other t2 ship skills, of which i still have a few to get to 5

I dont if i so chose to, have to sign in every day, and if i can get on once a month i can pretty much keep going like that for 7 months or so,

while i know that's not everybody's situation, its fairly easily achievable.

Its not possible to please all the people all the time, but it sure as hell is possible to Displease all the people, most of the time.
